Girls getting ready for Penbritte this weekend
Chimone and Biddy
Leane and Red
This is Maldives, a young Thoroughbred who is 4 months post op of a kissing spine surgery and his owner and I decided to make it a fun project and rehabilitation program to do the same work we would to put a horse into carriage, because nothing is going to build up back muscles like pulling tyres.
Do you think we'll be able to get this young Thoroughbred into carriage? Comment below👇

This was Hendry's sixth time under saddle, never got time to post this video, but it was his second time riding in the open dressage arena and his second time cantering under saddle, too many time I see horse being backed and it's bucking and throwing the rider around, if your horse understands what you want from him he won't feel the need to buck, and alot of times bucking is misinterpreted
So blessed and lucky to have views like this as my office all day and everyday❤️
Did I forget the lunge ropes and "control" halter with a chain.... oops my bad 🤭Callaho Roulet du Ayenne
loading like a champion, but loading how it should be done calm, confident and your horse understanding what you want from him or her#CapCut #callaho #callahostud #warmblood #horsebox #horsetrailer #horsesoftiktok #horsemanship #naturalhorsemanship ##naturalhorsemanshipinstructor #naturalhorsemanshiptraining #equinepsychology

Percheron stallion Prince Valiant
Prince Valiant learning to read my body and stay with me rather than wanting to take over and do what he wants to do.
I started working with Valiant to teach him ground manners and respect for people's personal space, Valiant know he is big and can easily walk over or run through people. He is alot more worried about what is going on around him than focusing on the person standing next to him on the ground.
When I started working with Valiant and I started asking things from him he would get very emotional and try run over me or past or he would take over and do what he wants, alot of times horses will do this when they don't feel safe or unconfident and the person who is handling the doesn't take that leadership role that makes them feel safe.
Remember SAFTEY comes first for your horse.
So we started working on relaxation and focusing on me instead of what is going on around him and looking to me for answers and not finding them himself. And reading my body not my tools.
Swimming swimming swimming 🌊 I love to cool the horses down after they have been worked, and we are so lucky to have our dam that our horses and clients have access to at any time 🌊 Alot of horses love swimming but some may be weary and feel unconfident at first, if they have never been exposed to large bodies of water but once they get the hang of it, it is can be such a fun activity to do with your horse🦄
Swimming also has its benefits for horses besides a nice cooling down session, swimming helps with mental stimulation,
It improving fitness, endurance and stamina, alongside flexibility and stride. The natural resistance of water pushes horses to work harder, increasing the capacity of the heart and lungs, as well as the toning muscles.
Do you teach your horse to come over when you mount?
If not Why not?
Teaching your horse to come over to the mounting block is a great way to test your communication skills and focus with your horse and it's a great way to see if your horse understands what you ask of them and not freakout if pressure is applied instead they try and find the answer!
It is also a wonderful test your partnership with your horse and it's a fun way to help build you and your horse's relationship!
And it is mental stimulation for your horse🦄
Note
Horses love finding the answers to relaxation
So on Instagram I had a vote to see if I should teach Noddy to rear and end result was yes so here it is the big man rearing, he gets super excited when we play like this, he is so clever, it took him in all 12min to teach him to rear
Pierre is a big Tb I had the privilege of working with 2 weeks ago and Mr Pierre refused and I mean REFUSED to get a horse box, in our first session he didn't even want to put his front feet on the ramp and when he finally did after an hour I ended our session, the second session I got his back feet on the ramp with his neck in the box and on the third day Pierre was going and out of the box like a champ 🌟🌟
~ This Is How You Should be Loading Your Horse ~
A while back I showed Sonet what to work towards to help Casey box easier and since then they've been practicing what I taught them and today Sonet finally showed me how she boxes Casey. I'm so proud of these two ✨✨✨
