Although dehydrated raw may not be seen in the same light as fresh-raw or frozen-raw foods, it’s important to know that they are the same. Through dehydrating our raw, the moisture is removed at the correct temperature. This allows us to extened the self-life without compromising on the quality of our product. The dehydration process is also gentler on the natural enzymes and vitamins found in food, so they remain intact during storage and become extremely shelf-stable. This means that traveling with your dogs and still feeding them a raw diet, will now be more convenient than ever.

HOW TO INTRODUCE RAWR FOR THE FIRST TIME

Although some dogs may have more robust digestive systems than others, an upset tummy is always possible when introducing a new diet for the first time.
When introducing any JUST RAWR mix, we advise that it is introduced slowly over a 7day period. This will give their system time to adjust to the change without leaving you with a mess to clean up.
Switching from pellets to pure, clean and healthy raw is quite huge and 7days is very little to ask after a lifetime of tasteless pellets.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF FEEDING JUST RAWR?

The health benefits of RAWR feeding is endless but out of our personal experience since having our own dogs on JUST RAWR, we have found the following:
• A troubled eater is finally excited about feeding time.
• Our old boy got his mobility back in his hips – no more medication was needed, sadly he eventually got his doggy wings and will be remembered as our golden oldie.
• Our Rotties first lost weight and then started picking it up again in their chest area.
• Our Pointers are able to work days on end without “crashing”.
• A much better coat and little hair loss.
• Smaller stools and better intestinal health.
• Their teeth are clean & no more smelly breath.
• Underweight dogs filled up and had an improved condition
in a matter of weeks.
• The number of pups in a litter seems to be bigger.
Puppies tend to start eating JUST RAWR a few
days earlier and very quickly move over to the
solid diet away from primary milk production from the mom.
• Better milk production by lactating bi***es.

𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙪𝙨?

JUST RAWR started off with us preparing a basic RAWR mix just for our own household and working dogs. Literally through word of mouth we started supplying a few friends, a few training partners, a few kennels, and some competitors in the field trailing community.

It was never intended to be a business but when COVID-19 pandamic hit in 2020 it made us all think about what is important to us. If anything I realized that I value quality over quantity. Quality time with my family, a quality cup of coffee, and a quality conversation with my beautiful wife. I personally started focussing on "less stuff" but more quality. From this was the decision to either sell "JUST RAWR" and move on or to really create something of quality that we as a family can be proud of. From this decision our vision to create a superior RAWR product with superior service was born. Here we are ready to share our unreserved passion, love, and commitment by bringing JUST RAWR feeding solutions to you for your animal's health and happiness.

Dog of the week
Mac, a 2 year old labradoodle from Benoni.
Mac is spirited and full of life, he makes friends with everyone he meets, and he loves open spaces to run around and play.
His mother (Courtney Hodgson) says that Mac is a happy pup, as long as he gets lots of attention, and can play with his toy lamb (which is ultimately his favourite toy in the world).
Mac only eats our Sadlers Mix which is specially produced for dogs with allergic reactions to chicken or chicken products, so our Sadlers mix contains only beef, pork and venison as protein sources.
Mac has been using Sadlers mix since 2022 , and he couldn't be more happier and healthy.

Our dog of the week is none other than Baloo, a 6 month old labradoodle from Olympus Pretoria.
He has an energy and love for life that is contagious. 😀
He loves going on coffee dates with his mother ( Lashay Ruck) and making her laugh on a daily basis.
He spends his days digging in the garden or stealing socks, when he isn't snacking on carrots, Baloo eats our Sadlers Mix and that would explain where all his energy comes from, our Sadlers mix is filled with protein sources and various fruits and vegetables, that is vital to a pup's upbringing.Congratulations Baloo 🥳
