🧬 Where do Chihuahuas come from?
Chihuahuas are believed to have ancient roots in Mexico, dating back to the time of the Aztecs and the Toltecs. They’re named after the Mexican state of Chihuahua, where the modern breed was discovered in the 1800s. These tiny dogs were once thought to be sacred and even had a place in ancient rituals!
