A sneak peak at some pinstripe clown het VPI axanthic combos, pairing was Enchi batman(blade) x lemonblast VPI axanthic het clown. I believe the bottom one is the full combo and the top one is enchi pinstripe batman het axanthic. I have one more clutch in the incubator of the same pairing so once that hatches hopefully I'll have enough variety among babies to get my IDs 100%. Can't wait for these babies to shed out.

This little cracker just hatched, and guess what it has pinstripe in it, an old gene but a gold gene, it is very difficult to disrupt the clown pattern. Pairing was enchi leopard spotnose clown X VPI Axanthic pastel pinstripe 100% het clown. I believe this is a spotnose pinstripe clown 100% het VPI Axanthic.

I wasn't going to post clutch pics this season but figured I should do one and attach my opinion along with it, this is an enchi het clown female 10 years old, by ball python standards this is still a very young female. By current industry standards she is no longer considered a power animal however when I hatched her back in 2014 she was definitely worth holding back for the future. The current trend is to raise a female to breeding size, breed her and then sell her as soon as you have a more genetically stacked animal. While I do understand this approach from a business point of view I can never understand it from a hobbyist point of view. This female remains in my collection and probably always will, I house her feed her and once in a while I will breed her when I have a new male with genetics I want to get into my clown project. This season she has blessed me with 7 eggs from a black pastel ultramel het clown male, let's hope for the allelic black pastel enchi clown het ultramel female.

VPI Axanthic clown X VPI Axanthic genetic stripe, guess I'll have to wait for them to finish before I clean this cage. Last season I made some enchi spotnose triple het females and an enchi leopard spotnose triple het female for this project, let's hope I get my male from this pairing.
