Our Intermediate group's dogs and handlers are learning about non-verbal cues and communication.
Here they had to recall the dog to the front then finish to heel without using their voice.
Little Coco absolutely rocked it!
Today's lesson consolidated all the skills learnt over the 6 week course into a short obstacle course.
The last obstacle was biscuit bobbing, just for fun.
It was interesting to watch Willow carefully shake off the water before she ate her biscuit!
Our pups had some fun today, after all the seriousness of learning.
We held a taste test. Each puppy owner made a puppy-safe doggy dish of their choice. We lined the treats up and each puppy had the opportunity to sniff, choose and eat the treat it deemed most worthy!
Little Ivy here said it was her very favourite lesson!
