Meet little Enzo Roberts ๐Ÿพ, our Braveheart award. He came in very weak and ill in September. He was in and out of hospital with uncontrollable fevers and after blood tests and abdominal ultrasound, Cushingโ€™s disease was diagnosed.
Cushings disease causes an excessive amount of cortisone release causing weakened muscles and immune system. This led to a urinary tract infection. He also had an infected tooth extracted. He was successfully treated for Cushings and started on monthly librela injections for his arthritis.
Thanks to the loving care of the Robertโ€™s family, he has made a great recovery and is back to enjoying his beach walks !
