At Westville Vet we are fortunate to be able to offer in-house rehabilitation to our hospital and outpatients recovering from surgery, injuries or illness, and also to outpatient referrals from other practices. However, not all clinics are able to employ a full time therapist. This article has some very helpful tips for all veterinary trained professionals to offer basic rehabilitation care for weak, paralysed or disabled animals during their recovery.

Basic rehabilitation exercises can be performed in most veterinary practices and play a crucial role in patient recovery. Incorporate these simple but effective techniques into your treatment plans.
