NARROW CREEK STUD BRING CLASSY QUARTET TO AUGUST SALE

Narrow Creek Stud, whose alumni include such G1 winning stars as Isivunguvungu and Red Saxon, had another good season in 2023-2024.
Among the notable performers representing Narrow Creek last season were the progressive Joker Man, highly rated filly Khethiwe’s Destiny, and promising filly Pointer, to name but a few.
In addition, Isinvunguvungu is gearing up for a campaign in North America.

The farm will be offering four smart prospects at the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale, with this draft made up of two-year-olds sired by Canford Cliffs, Danon Platina, Fire Away and the red hot Rafeef.

Buffalo Bill Cody filly makes it two in a row
Wilgerbosdrift's promising young stallion Buffalo Bill Cody has made a bright start to his stud career, and the son of Redoute's Choice was at it again when his first crop daughter Khethiwe's Destiny won the eighth and final race at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday.
The two-year-old, trained, like her sire, by Mike De K**k, made it back to back wins when she downed some hard knocking older rivals to land the Hollywoodbets Bright Future FM 73 Handicap (1200m) in good style.
Under an inform Muzi Yeni, Khethiwe's Destiny romped home to score by nearly two and a half lengths and she looks a well above average filly.
Bred by Narrow Creek Stud (also breeders of Buffalo Bill Cody's early winners Buffalo Storm Cody and Rattlesnake ), Khethiwe's Destiny has now won two of four starts, with the filly finishing third in each of her first two starts.
Khethiwe's Destiny, who is out of the Gimmethegreenlight mare Gimmethemoney, was a R200 000 buy from the 2023 Cape Yearling Sale.
She is one of five winners, from just 11 runners, to have emerged from Buffalo Bill Cody's small first crop, with this crop also including Listed HKJC World Pool Event April 6 Storm Bird Stakes winner Pistol Pete.
From the same female line as top-class stallion Hard Spun, Buffalo Bill Cody is currently the second Leading First Season Sire in South Africa for 2023-2024.

What a fun days racing with a treble for Narrow Creek Stud (A close 4th winner with Ride On running a thrilling second from way off them and favorite Moonshiningthrough being sadly scratch at the start)

SCARS OF WAR won the first of the day for owner Ian Levitan and trainer Tony Peter. Huge congratulations to all involved in the beautiful grey filly By Heavenly Blue.

Then it was the turn of KHETHIWE'S DESTINY ( some of you may remember him as Chicken Fry at the sale ;) Always a pleasure breeding a winner for Hollywood Syndicate and this boy by Buffalo Bill Cody looks very exciting. Trained by Mike de K**k. Congratulations.

JOKER MAN is nothing short of wow winning his 4th race in a row. Very exciting Vercingetorix c**t out of Isabelle who is a half sister to the exciting new stallion Sandringham Summit. Trained by Johan Janse Van Vuuren for the Wernars.

A wonderful day for our beautiful mare Saraaba with 2 of her babies winning in Kenilworth yesterday.

MOJO MAN made it his 3rd win in fine style over 1000m. A striking Rafeef gelding owned by Mr and Mrs Breitenbach and trained by the talented and on form Vaughan Marshall Racing . Huge congratulations and well ridden by Ashton Arries.

Then a horse close to our hearts by the very exciting Buffalo Bill Cody. RATTLESNAKE won bravely making it his first win from 3 starts and a bright future ahead. Very bold ride by Robert Khathi and owned by John in partnership with Candice and Mark bass. Thank you Candice for training this gorgeous boy with a big heart.
