My chickens are out here living the soft life💁‍♀️.Winter can be merciless if you know you know..😏😏.We work so hard with the resources we have to create a conducive environment for the broilers to grow .Below are some details we pay attention to when it comes to our chicken house
●The building
●Bedding
●Temperature
●Bio security

I am sure we have fully recovered from the holiday as it is our bussiest time as farmers nekuti "ukama igasva...,vanhu vanenge voda kugocha nekukanga vakanorisker ka🍺🍾🥩🥓🍗🍖😋"
This was a few days before slaughter.We where managing our weights ,doing quality control.
It was tedious but worth it as we managed to reach our targeted average weight which was 2.1kg live bird,1.7kg dressed bird....

Remember that year when people went crazy with Zviuta(quail) in 2016?🤔
Man oh man what a time it was.🫣🤣I had not yet discovered my passion for farming or else I could have been on the list.👩🏽‍🌾
In 2022 I started a broiler project with a hundred birds,I quote "not with one feather" 🤪😂😂
Fast forward 2024 I have upscaled to 1000birds and it has been an enlightening experience and I am loving it👩🏽‍🌾🌿🐥🐓
