The holidays are a busy time of year for people, and all the hustle and bustle can affect dogs, too. Here are some things you can do to help ease the stress your dog may be experiencing at this time of year.

1) The holidays can change your routines but this can be unsettling to your pet. Try to stick to their walk and mealtime routine as much as possible.

2) Don't forget your pet in the midst of the holiday celebrations! Your dog might need some extra reassurance and cuddles during the calmer moments.

3) Make sure their food and water bowls are topped up. This will help prevent begging behaviours.

4) Give them a safe space to relax. Your dog might become irritable if tired or overstimulated so make sure they have a safe place to rest and relax away from the festivities.
