Feeding your dog the right amount of raw food is key to their health (and happiness)—but it’s not one-size-fits-all! Here's what to consider:
- Feed 3% of your dog’s ideal body weight daily (ideally fed in one meal in the morning or the evening, or two meals if this is how your dog prefers it).
- Puppies need more food to support growth (around 5–6% of their body weight), you can split this into 3-4 meals a day, reducing the meals as the puppy grows.
- Active, working, or highly energetic dogs may need a bit more, while less active dogs need slightly less.
- If your dog is underweight, increase their food intake slightly (3.5%); if they’re overweight, reduce it carefully (2.5%).
TIP: Always monitor your dog’s weight and adjust portions as needed. Every pup is unique!
