I'm trying to monitor these few to help me reach my target number above 80 lives within 4 months from 5 breeding chickens and 4 pigeons. I have created my runs though like I always say I prefer using simple available resources. These pictures are mixed as some were taken during construction and some after I had finished. At this point I am only hoping to see them trained like those I started my page with. Honestly I am not so sure about the pigeons if they will be friendly to stand on my hand freely soon like those I had at first but I will keep trying my best. Today it's my day one with these pigeons and they're still closed in their run but once I succeed with my wish you will see the pictures posted.

I'd like to tell you that I'm still promoting this page but now I'm employed and I asked my employer to allow me focus on his breeding stock on my spare time since I like monitoring chicks. All the 37 that hatched are still alive and growing fine. For those seeing my posts while unemployed, I wish to advise you to search in your heart and try focusing on what you like doing the most that can earn you something even if doing it for practice with less gain and keep praying. I never knew that one day I will be employed somewhere given the opportunity to do what I like the most. The project I had at home made me reach this stage since I managed to buy a car in Zim and got my driver's license before crossing the boarders. Some might not understand but today I can tell my testimony that indeed God hears our prayers, even though I am not sure yet if my employer will be supportive to me all the way but I'm happy about doing this project.

Please hold on to whatever brings food to your table even if it's little but it's better than nothing, if u ask me, I have seen the life of being a civil servant in Zim, unemployed in Zim, security guard in Zim, hustling in Zim, in all these times I had my gud n bad but now I understand that it's nt abt how much $ u get bt how yr plans go

It's a new setup hence not created the fowl runs. I found these chickens sleeping on trees and on day 1 I created that temporary run and I'm yet to create another for chicks. What I did was to make sure I secure their places to lay in. I don't use any materials bought from stores but the simple resources like wood and rubbers. All the 4 hens laid but 3 hatched 37chicks in the cabin and the 1 which didn't hatch is now laying again whilst those hatched are roaming around with the roaster and I hope they're going to lay again soon. My wish is to reach 100 chicks in less than 4months to come. I feed using broiler grower pellets but since my chicks are still young, I crush the pellets using a bigger pliers to attain smaller particles. However as I take the chicks away from the mother-hen at day one after hatching, I mix some of the crushed pellets with water to appetize the younger ones. With this plan, that's why all the 37 hatched are still alive having taken at different intervals but all at day 1 after hatching.

I believe it's possible to attain any number of the chickens you desire from the breeding stock you have aslong as you put more care.

Hello, good afternoon. For some time I had been silent but from today I wish to update the farmers that I am still in this sector. I will also like to let you know that I have relocated to a different place and currently I only have chickens and will be starting to post updates soon. I started with 4 hens and one roaster early this year and all laid eggs but had to deprive one to hatch. I have 37 chicks by now and all were taken away at day one after hatching but they're all fine. Pictures will be sent tomorrow and I really wish to admit that I like Poultry and all who needs my advice are free to inbox me and I will share my new contact numbers for WhatsApp and calls.

Have a nice day and thank you for liking my page and staying even though I was silent going through some hard times but I am back now

Hello, I thought to update you that I'm still alive and the breeding season just begun. If all goes well, the updates will start soon after we get chicks.
I have not lost the hope but due to my country's economic status, it turns to be hard to fulfill some dreams faster. I say so because currently I'm unemployed and getting a little income from vending that helps me to survive with the breeding stock only. I was forced to cut the number of roadrunners too. I have high hopes for expanding this project by December.

Have a good day

I call them my friends. Actually I haven't been able to expand this project and it seems like it's going to collapse but I pray that some youths out there may view the previous posts and understand that backyard farming can possibly fulfill your dreams if you work according to your target. At this current moment I have a lot in my mind and may be forced to change a trade but will be posting some updates since the breeding season approaches. Have a good night, again, thank you for staying in this page

Hello, as from November I have been silent about the project and I just returned to find it at the verge of falling apart. A lot of the stock was removed. I'm having less breeding stock and not yet sure if I will manage the rabbits this year. I wish to revive this project for the upcoming breeding season. Thank you for being here and I will definitely keep you informed about the ongoings though I'm focusing on different hustles at the same time but managing the birds won't strain me. Have a good night

I went to my project site over the past weekend and I realised that doing these backyard projects was the only hustle I have ever achieved through the commitment of my soul whilst bringing something in return to me. I abandoned this project last year November and till now the work I chose can't bring peace to my mind. I am praying for better updates and advanced project before the end of this year.

To those who liked my updates, please don't lose hope and I'm praying for a better tomorrow in this farming industry

Circumstances had forced me to hustle for the upkeep of this project. This season my be less productive but for the better next time. Feeding costs had overpowered me but the breeding stock still there. Now trying to hustle in Bulawayo but thank you for believing in me and being in this page. I still have that zeal of being the greatest farmer but I have to get extra cash to survive the pressure

It's not easy to manage more than 60 birds including pigeons because of shortage of relish and attacks from prey birds and predators but with less feeding I had and the training I offered, they survived. Happy farming but willing to remove Rabbitry section and maximize Fowl

I can't comment much on these pics but she worked like this paying for my school fees and also helping me when needs came. I'm not a mama's boy but at times we learn something from our parents without talking to them. I was at school 2008 but my fees were paid, got to A'Level years later ... Ofcoz I didn't grow up in a big or rich family but I thank this lady for being there for me. She's also my partner in Mk R &F D

Fostering kits is the trick that save me from losing kits. She's not the mother of these kits and I fostered hers to the NZW they kindled same day. I keep her fed in maternity ward so that she produces enough milk for the 13 kits as enchor. Anyway let me stop here, it's just that I feel connected to this project of birds and Rabbits. Have a good day

I like this game with these birds done at any time of the day so that they always look upon for that time without going far from my home since I am in rural areas. I live in an ordinary rural home setup with bushes around where predators can hide or my birds be attacked by dogs out there. That's why I allow this friendship to develop this way to avoid more risks because I can't afford to detain them due to feeding costs

Thankyou all for liking my page. Your presence here makes me continue with focus on the upkeep of this project, I decided to choose one Turkey and a hen to train and act like Guineas on me. Turkey took me about a week but now she flys on my shoulder easily, the hen is the one in my history nursing keets but now upgraded our friendship. These birds are crazy but I have began to love the deal though it hurts to have them feed on your palm while balancing on the flesh. The pigeons now almost all of them had rested on my arm only that most of the times I don't shoot. I have one Guinea fowl that understand when I call her to fly and stand on my palm. I wish to get any farmer who enjoys such training to advise me. I am now doing a 60day count down to have Guinea eggs so those interested it's ryt tym now for you to buy older hens whom you will swap eggs on and have your own keets to train. Have a good day

I'm sure the day you will visit me you will ask about these legends on my arm. Ooh, let me tell you something about these two birds: they all came to Mk R &F D as adults, meaning not bred here. Every Legend has a history and I will like to explain why they're legends to me. The G.F. was bought in July 2021 sleeping on a tree and not friendly to people. I didn't ask how the seller caught her but I prayed to befriend her and detained her with the pair I had bought in June2021 in a chicken run. She didn't like me this much after releasing her but as others were not used to sleeping on trees she joined them and slept with chickens. By August both females got sick and couldn't walk for 4 days, they survived because I forced broiler pellets feeding in their mouths on daily basis and they began to love it. After their recovery till today, they show me love and can't afford to spend a week without checking on them. From the 2 females I managed to get 50 keets but raised 28 such friendly GFs. πŸ˜„Will tell you their names later koz they're of people since they're like daughters to meπŸ˜ƒ. Then about the pigeon, was bought around March 2021 in Plumtree town not this friendly too, I have joined him with more than 3 females till now and have sold some of his offsprings. As for now I finally got his proper Mrs, as big like him, bred here by my first pair to keep, and crazy as him when it comes to feeding in the hand. I salute my Legends koz they actually reproduced quite well to give me profits. I wrote this paragraph to motivate someone who thinks farming only bring profits from cattle and field only, backyard farming can help your family sustain..... to be continued in better ENGLISH, Goodnight
