Identification of our livestock through ear tagging in progress. The tags bear our name, livestock number and our contact numbers. This is so important for our own accounting reasons as well as identification by whoever who might meet one of them in case we might have lost it. This time of the year the livestock are wandering all over the grazing lands looking for something to eat and it's very easy for some to get lost

A blessed day from Tafara mixed farm. Sow #48 gave birth to 10 lovely piglets. This is its second parity and shows great improvement. It had a litter size of 8 on its first parity

Something is brewing, the rabbit is nesting. Nesting is the process whereby the rabbit collects bunches of hay on her mouth and start to make its nest. The process is then followed by plucking of its fur which it uses to line the nest. The lining is used to create warmth for its kits once they are born. Therefore we are expecting kits very soon
