Restaurants in The Greens are mainly in the shopping centre, which also has a popular Choithrams supermarket, mosque, pharmacy, optician, cookie store, nail spa and several ATM bank machines. The complex features a string of restaurants and cafes with outdoor seating, including the Asian-inspired Wagamamas, Mashawi Lebanese restaurant, Costa coffee, KFC and Bert’s cafe. Nearby
Emaar Business Park has more eating options, with pizza places a plenty and some coffee shops. For the food conscious, the Organic Foods & Café is a supermarket that stocks a range of health foods, with an eatery serving a menu of organic dishes. Standing alone, Nando’s offers spicy Afro-Portuguese fare, while the terrace of Caribou Coffee is a popular meeting-sitting-chatting-hanging around spot. When you need a dose of noise and excitement, neighbouring Barsha Heights (Tecom as was) has an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, supermarkets, nightclubs and takeaways that will deliver to The Greens. The area occupies a very convenient spot between the greenery of Emirates Golf Club on one side, and the abundant facilities of Barsha Heights on the other. There is a direct entry point to Sheikh Zayed Road, the city’s main artery that links to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. Other routes give easy access to Internet City, Knowledge Village, Media City, Al Barsha and beyond. Out and about
A series of elongated lakes with leafy surrounds run the length of area, which is a popular destination for walkers with dogs, parents with kids and people with time on their hands. Many buildings provide sporting facilities like swimming pools, basketball courts and even gyms for residents. Although there are no fitness clubs in The Greens, the Yoga House studio is situated near to Emaar Business Park. For gyms, beauty salons and nail spas, again Barsha Heights is on your doorstep. Although not directly on a Metro link, Nakheel and Dubai Internet City Metro stations are a short walk away or a shorter drive. Buses go from the Greens Village Mall through The Springs and The Meadows to Dubai Internet City Metro station. For little learners, Gardenia nursery is located in the development and Raffles International Nursery has premises nearby in The Lakes. A short drive away, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina offer many more options. For years 1 to 12, Regent International School in The Greens offers the UK National Curriculum locally, as well as IGCSE and A / AS levels at secondary stage.
