If you go on vacation, go to a boarding facility or a licensed pet sitter.
If you move, take your pet with you.
If you relocate, take your pet with you.
If your pet is sick, you take care of him/her.

Adopt, don’t shop.
And if you adopt a pet, check first if your building/landlord allows it.”

Pets are for life!
How can you say you love your pet and then you abandon them because you’re going on vacation, or you’re moving house, or moving out of the country, or because your pet gets sick and you don’t want to pay for the bills. Especially when they get sick because you bought your pet from an illegal breeder/puppy mill.

It’s always the same story! And I’m done hearing all of the excuses. If you can’t commit to taking care of a pet for life, then don’t get one.
And if you do decide to enrich your life with a furry family member, then adopt and save a life!

Lucy, one of our amazing dogs in foster, has bolted on her walk last night. She ran towards the Polo Club.

She has been spotted this morning by one of our volunteers and her foster Mum near the intersection between Umm Suqeim and the 311. Thankfully her extendable leash and harness have come off but she is still wearing a collar.

We desperately need eyes around Motor City / Ranches / Arjan.

We are so worried. Please help us to bring this sweet girl home ❤️

We are super excited to launch our next adoption/foster day with a special event in collaboration with .petdr and .art 🎨

Date- 28th April.
Location- .petdr
Time- 3pm-6pm.

For the special workshop with .art this will be 200aed and will be a 2 hour paint your dog experience. It will include all materials and a personalized stencil for you to copy and paint onto. (Image of your dog needs to be sent by latest Thursday)
All proceeds will be going towards our new shelter so your support is gratefully appreciated!

Spring is almost sprung and with the beautiful flowers comes lots and lots and lots of kittens! And while many of us think kittens are so cute, and they are, they are not cute when they are dying from disease or starvation or squished on the road.

You get the picture, it is an ugly way to live and thousands of unwanted kittens are not cute and not accidents! We humans need to stop being so selfish and naive and selfish to allow our cats to keep reproducing because we are too cheap or too lazy to have them spayed and neutered.

Your kids do not need to experience birth just so you can have some cute kittens that you then have to dump on someone else that then get kicked outside and live a less than desirable life producing more and more cats. You want your kid to become responsible, you become responsible and teach them to spay and neuter their pets so that all the unwanted pets are not getting killed every day. Stop teaching them that they can have babies and then dump them on someone else.

If you have feral cats, we have a feral cat program. If you have a cat, save your money and have them spayed and neutered. Let's actually love them like we claim to love them. Please, stop making more kittens until all the cats are fixed and there actually is a need for more of them which is never going to happen so it is just best to have your cat fixed.

Our medium-sized, approx. 3.5 year old desert dog mix is looking for a home for life.

Shari is cheerful, active and people orientated. She is calm at home and can spend a few hours on her own.

Children in the house should be a little older and respectful, as she can be a little boisterous. She currently lives in a foster home with a 5-year-old girl. Things are going well here.

She does not like cats. She gets along with other dogs after patient introduction . However, the best home for her is one where she can live as a solitary princess.

House-trained, knows how to drive, loves long walks.

Are you active? Do you love jogging? Shari would be an excellent companion.

Vaccinated, wormed, chipped, neutered, tested negative for Ehrlichia.
