Well as many are aware we had this horse advertised for 2 months I’d say . We have been asked whether this horse trots , jumps , will he shy at a kangaroo, will we drop him to 7000 will the owner pay for a vet check , we have also been told that his education has gone backwards and he is only worth 5000 if that we have also been asked if we would lease this horse ect ect .
We were shown some messages today which we forwarded to Gibson owners who has owned this horse for 6 years he has spent $$$$$$$ on training even having over 100 hours with the top trainer Manolo Mendez that’s just to name one of the trainers this horse has worked with .
To be told today that it’s going around that his education has gone backwards since these people purchased him , is not only an insult to the owners but to everyone involved with this horse .
This horse has the best life anyone could wish for for any horse .
After many of phone conversations with the owners and us , we have decided that Circle J Horsemanship will purchase Gibson we know his worth and how cheap he was at 10,000 .
This horse was originally sold as a green broke horse 6 years ago - so I’m not sure how is education has gone backwards if he was sold as a green broke horse
So Gibson has been removed off the market and will be back on the market when we feel it’s the right time .and that’s only if want to move him on . He will NOT be 10,000
He will be a rope horse!!!!!
In this video it is the absolute first time he has seen the dummy and 2nd time with a rope .
I understand people are struggling in the current economic times , but the insults do not need to happen .
Is all these videos were todays session
Thanks
Orin & Hayley
Normally I only do these type of videos for our members only , to be honest I don’t like being infront of the camera .
But I feel this topic needed to be raised and I feel it’s more personal seeing a video rather than reading a text
Day 1 - Arnie the Appy cannot fault him
Day one arrival of the very popular Appy gelding .
Will keep you all updated as I have had many of messages regarding this fella
Most of you are aware , we have been working closely with Full Circle Thoroughbreds.
Full Circle Thoroughbreds may breed extremely large numbers of racehorses, but there priority is the welfare of the horse , from the day that horse is born it has a program , and that program is to set that horse up for success not only on the track but once they are retired from racing there future looks so much brighter .
From weaning the horse is given the foundations necessary for a positive future .
During the horses racing career and there spell time they are ridden in low leval riding whether it be flat work , jumping work , trail riding ect , swimming program or popped on the walker . There health and fitness is always number one
These horses do have 2/3 weeks off completely but they are ridden consistently during there spell time from racing . Why is that ? This prevents damage to there respiratory system , bone density ect ect the percentages of loss to them just sitting in the paddock is unbelievable, this has been proven on many of studies of the athlete of the racehorse . I could talk so much about this as I find it so interesting but I will go back to the point of what Circle J Horsemanship and Full Thoroughbreds are trying to achieve .
And that is the repurpose of the racehorse , once they are retired from the track we bring them back into work and try and place them in there forever homes .
ZAPURBLY was one of them and we have Sascha arriving in 3 weeks for a 4-6 week stay and then we will have her available for rehome I will post some videos that I have received of Sascha she seems very lovely and has ALOT of training . She has had 12 months off hence the reason of us bringing her back in work
Sasha is 14 years old
Owner has reduced this horse .
Cheap horse send me a message he won’t stay long at this price if he does I’ll be shocked
10000
Would make a perfect pony club mount , adult riding , trail riding , team penner , roping prospect , obstacle horse you name it
No buck no bolt no rear - easy keeper can paddock him with other horses . Ground manners perfect , slow Rockin horse canter , leg aids , sidepass , slide stop , spin just an allround good horse .
11 years old well bred registered QH
15hh
Dottie came to us 6 weeks ago off the same property as Kevin .
Although Dottie had more handling than Kevin she was still very stand offish and unsure of us .
Fast forward 6 weeks she is now well and truly under saddle , this video is my son riding her for the first time due to me dealing with an injury .
We look forward to following Dottie’s journey with her owner she is such a sweet mare who we believe will be a fantastic riding horse in the near future .
Thanks to Logan for stepping up and helping us out .
Ok I cannot believe I have to post this horse again .
Breaview Gibson - check him out on AQHA
Well bred Quarter Horse gelding 11 years old
15hh well broke well educated
Advertising on behalf of our client who has reluctantly decided to part with Gibson
Gibson is an absolute sweetheart
Loves to be pampered
Easy to catch shoe wash ect ect
Cannot fault him on the ground
Ridden he’s got it all there
Soft , rocking horse lope , slide , stop spin , rollback ride at the end of the buckle you name it
Is he safe - yes
Is he for a beginner - no
If you’re looking for a confidence builder this ain’t your horse he’s great he’s smart he’s quick on his feet he may leave you behind .
Can you ride him in spurs ? Don’t know havnt needed to !!!!
What’s he like out on a ride - he may shy he may not .
Will be buck ? Never bucked in 4 months we have had him .
Will he rear ? Has not shown that either
Will he bolt ? Doubt it ask him to stop he will stop he’s got a whole lot more whoa than go
What’s he like to load on float ? Point him and go
Is he kid safe ? An experienced teenager yes
Is he cowy ? Not sure we personally have not put him
on cattle but been told he has .
Is he good in traffic ? Yes doesn’t worry him
What does he do when he shys? Well he will look ke will stop he may move to left to the right , but it’s not a major overreaction if you can ride it won’t bother you , if you can’t it may frighten you .
Does he shy all the time ? Nope only when he’s fresh .
How often do I have to ride him ? Well he’s not a horse you need to ride every day but the more work you put in the better he will be .
He hadn’t been ridden for 6 months before he arrived and he didn’t put a foot wrong .
I think I have covered all the questions raised
I will not hold , I will not negotiate this horse is worth every cent of his asking price
Thanks Hayley
Kevin
I don’t normally post videos to this page . But I think this one is worth sharing .
This is Kevin a 3/4 year old colt who was brought to us for handling .
Kevin was run off a stockcrate to us and was petrified of human contact .
Kevin is just starting his 4th week
Shoutout the the wives keeping the business together .
We may not train but us wives are always behind the scenes working our butts off
I normally hide behind the camera - but I think we need to show more of what happens behind the scenes “ training “ and excitement of seeing a horse transform and show the hardworking workers behind the scenes .
So this video is not just me it’s for all the hard workers behind the scenes that don’t get the recognition.
If it wasn’t for all the people behind the cameras the trainers would struggle to fulfill there commitments to training your horses .
