It’s been a very quiet 2 weeks here at Perfect Pawz but this is a small collection of dog’s that have come to see me 🥰🥰

There are a couple missing but there is always next time for more photos!

Welcome back Sabbath and Betty, it was a pleasure seeing you both again!
Betty had a full makeover and Sabbath had a bath and tidy (face, feet and sanitary) today. Now they will both be in sync for a 6 weekly grooming schedule, to keep them looking fresh and fabulous 🤩😎

I also had Raffy in today, one of the best boys ever 🥰 this is a pic from last time but who can resist seeing his adorable face again!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dewey, the sweetest and most handsome Chow Chow X I ever did see 😍

Obviously Dewey has a few issues with coat growth but fingers crossed, alongside the vets advice, we can make a bit of a difference! The hope is that with regular grooming sessions, with special coat care products, we may be able to stimulate the hair follicles into some new growth. This doesn’t always work for health reasons but it’s well worth a shot and either way we can keep his skin in good shape too.

Yesterday and today’s gorgeous doggo’s 🤩🤩🥰🥰

Barkley and Angus the incredibly handsome Labradoodles 🤩
I Couldn’t fault Barkley if I tried, what a wonderful boy to groom! And the very cheeky yet loveable mr Angus, having his very first big boy haircut.

Baxter was the best boy for grooming and is now feeling cool for summer 😎 check out that amazing tail!

And Evie, a little bit nervous but as cute as a button and the sweetest girl 🥰 summer ready ☀️

And as usual, everyone LOVES the fan ❄️

Apologies for the lack of recent posts! It’s a busy time of the year, as you would all know!

This was the last of my 2021 dog’s, some regulars and some first time clients but I very much hope to see many of you back in the new year and look forward to meeting more dogs along the way 😍😍🐶🐶

To my much loved and valued clients, I’d just like to say I hope you are having a very merry Christmas and big thank you for supporting my journey and dream at Perfect Pawz in the last few months! It’s been a bit of a difficult start but due to the wonderful people who have come to see me with their much loved pets, I have come further than I’d hoped in a short period of time!

Introducing Trevor, one very handsome schnauzer 😍

Trevor had a modified schnauzer clip to help keep him a bit more manageable for mum, he had a schnauzer face, fuller schnauzer legs but we cleaned up all the hair from his belly and chest to cut out maintenance and left him with a slightly fuller tail. 😎

A little collection of a few lovely doggo’s from the last couple of days 😇 (unfortunately some missed out on photos this time but I’m sure we’ll get some next time!)

Marceline and Yoshi had big makeovers, their humans requested, as short and practical as possible. Not a problem, I’ve got you covered! A great option for those who may be a bit to time poor to maintain a longer coat or for those who may want to squeeze just a little bit more time out of their grooms.

Little Louie was such a beautiful soul! Despite having some anxieties, he was fantastic for his first groom with me and over time his confidence should grow 🥰

The gorgeous Pepper, still pulling off a fabulous style even in her senior years. I couldn’t fault her if I tried, such a well mannered and sweet little lady 💖

And Fergus, he had his second ever big boy haircut today. Feeling very sleepy and relaxed by the end of his groom I think 🥱

Today’s dogs, Millie, Mitch and Rafferty 🐶🐶🐶

Millie was an adorable little firecracker, very hard to get a still picture of her but isn’t she cute! She had a short comb clip today as opposed to an all off clip, so that she can maintain her pretty features 😍

Mitch had a massive blow out/ de-shed! This is only half of the hair, 1/4 was lost in the bath and another 1/4 was lost out the door! I’ll bet he’s feeling much better/cooler now 😎

And Rafferty, being dog sat on the farm whilst mum gets her fencing done. We’ve gone for a very practical farm style for now until he’s back home 🏡 still looking very cute tho!

Never enough time in the day! A bit late but here is yesterday’s doggo’s 🤩

Bentley and Lexi both needed a good makeover yesterday, particularly mr Bentley but he’s still looking quite adorable if I do say so myself! And miss Lexi is looking very pretty! 🥰

Benny was an absolute s***k in personality and very handsome to look at! He had a bath de-shed and very natural tidy up to keep him in good shape 😎

And Mercy, an 8 week regular if you’d believe it! I could almost make a second dog out of all that undercoat! I’m certain she is feeling great and much cooler for the hot weather now and she looks absolutely stunning as per usual 😍🤩

Today’s dog’s, Sonny, Harriet and Remi.

Sonny was such a sweet old man! His displaced elbows make grooming a little bit uncomfortable so out comes the belly band for added support and with much care taken throughout his groom, he is now looking and feeling great!

Harriet is so far my smallest client in size but she has a very big personality! Very confidently showing off her adorable teddy style groom 🤩

And Harriet’s mum Remi, lovely as ever and also proudly showing off her teddy style groom 🥰

Today’s doggo’s Lola and Louis 🥰

Miss Lola is a bit of a timid senior lady, so we went slowly and gently! I used a calming lavender and chamomile shampoo, followed by a very gentle blow dry on my lap, we also did the scary bits like nails and paw pads in my lap as well and then finished her trimming on the table. I think she left feeling quite good and looking beautiful also 😌

And Lous, what a ball of fun and energy you where!! Although he came rushing into the salon to investigate all of the sights and smells with great confidence, when it came to grooming Lous was also quite the nervous boy! But that’s ok, through process of elimination I was able to work out the best way to help Louis through his fears, conquering then one by one. Louis is going to come monthly for his bath and nails, so we can work on his grooming confidence 😎

Today’s dogs, Tiny, Raffy and Charlie 😍

Tiny the long haired Chihuahua is a bit of a nervous boy but at Perfect Pawz my aim is to help dog’s with their anxieties, so that they can feel comfortable and happy with grooming and his mum said he was feeling very good after his groom today 🥰

Raffy was an absolute gem! What a gorgeous boy inside and out 😍 thank you for visiting Pefect Pawz Raff, I look forward to having you back for your regular grooms!

Another fur storm at Perfect Pawz today, courtesy of the absolutely lovely Jammie 🥰

She was quite a shy girl so getting a photo was a bit tricky but you can definitely tell the difference with all of that undercoat gone and with a nice little trim of her feathers, feet and bum, she’s ready for the summer ☀️

They have finally arrived!! 🥳

Did you know, Perfect Pawz has loyalty cards! The loyalty cards are designed to give a little something back, to those happy to stay on a regular grooming schedule year round.

Only valid for 3 monthly grooming or less, as 3 months would be considered the minimum amount of grooming required for basic welfare, for any breed of dog!

To all of my wonderful clients that have already had an appointment before the arrival of the cards, your appointment will still be counted on your card if you chose to have one 🙌🏼

And for anyone wanting a regular groomer with a little reward here and there, don’t hesitate to make a booking and we can customise a schedule for your furry friend. There are spots still available before Christmas too!! 🎄🥰🤩👏🏼

Little miss Addison had her first big girl hair cut today and she was such a superstar 🤩

At just 5 months old she is already beginning the transition from puppy coat to adult coat, this time is very high maintenance for any dog as the shedding coat gets caught and if not brushed out regularly will cause matting to occur. This is why regular grooming from a young age is important for all of our furry friends! Miss Addison is off to a great start! 🥳

Today I present to you, the absolutely adorable Evie and Mason 😍

Clearly these 2 very much enjoy being dogs, and where well due for a good tidy up!

Both Evie and Mason are senior pups, so today they enjoyed the simple things like drying themselves off on the big comfy bed and testing to see how steady my hand was while sc******ng faces! I always love a quirky personality tho and these 2 did not disappoint 😍😂

Today’s lovely Perfect Pawz visitors 🥰

Frankie sporting her new summer clip and a little bit of blending from some cheeky home maintenance 🥸

And the first kitty to grace Perfect Pawz with their presence, Princess 👑
Unfortunately Princess had a few trouble areas today with some matting, so we did a very stylish (all be it slightly patchy) Lion clip for her! This has taken care of all those areas of matting, has prepared her for the warmer weather and now gives us the opportunity for regular maintenance, to keep her coat in top top condition 🤩😍

I also had one other older dog visit today named Jessy, unfortunately due to Jessy being extremely geriatric, I just did a nice quick comfort groom and get her back home as soon as possible! So no photos of her today but she was a very sweet little girl!

Today’s dogs, Sabbath, Betty and Lilly!

Sabbath needed a fresh start today but who says starting over can’t be cute!!

Betty also had a big makeover and her very first groom today! At 10 months old she has just started her coat transition from puppy to adult coat, this transition stage is very high maintenance! But we did manage to catch it just in time and I groomed her to a length that is manageable for her transition to adulthood.

And the gorgeous Lilly, getting ready for summer and looking beautiful.

The lovely, Harry and Amber 😍

While it’s not a traditional cavalier style, Harry and Amber are both looking rather lovely in their comb clips.

Comb clips are a great in between option, for when a full coat is a bit hard to keep on top of and an all off (short) clip is not desired.

Archie before, during and after his big makeover today! He was such a good boy, a true gentleman through and through!

He enjoyed lots of pats through the grooming process and there was the occasional, sneaky liver treat too! And once we where done there was plenty of time for relaxing and for me to admire how gorgeous he looked out in the sunshine ☀️ 😍

Darling little Rosie 😍😍

Rosie came in for her very first puppy bath and tidy today, however Rosie was quite afraid of everything!

So i used a calming lavender and chamomile shampoo and went slowly with her to make sure she was happy along the way! I also took the time to properly introduce her to every part of the grooming process, making sure she was comfortable with each experience, before we moved to the next step.

Starting grooming as a puppy is very important for the future confidence of your dog, regular exposure as a puppy will help to set your dog up for a lifetime of grooming ahead!
