Chelsea has been campdrafted and challenged. She has done dry work, cattle work and obstacle courses. Chelsea runs very nicely and is an enjoyable camp horse. She consistently runs scores and places in drafts.

Due to prioritising client horses, Lachlan rode Chelsea at three campdrafts this year. Their results included, Rocky Rush 6th in Maiden & finalled in Novice and Eidsvold 10th in Novice. Chelsea received Reserve Champion in the Open Challenge for the Gunalda Stockmans Challenge Buckle Series with Jacinta (the little sister). They also placed equal 7th/8th in the Maiden A at Proston. These are a few of her most recent results.

Chelsea is a proven breeder and a great mum at that.

Good to catch, shoe, truck, float, wash, rug etc. Leads off bikes and good around dogs. Chelsea is a great horse to have around.

Jet, you will be missed 💔

The go to bitch, the bitch that never found a challenge to big or a distance too far, one of the ones that never hesitated, trotting horned cows never bluffed her, she’d always be there at the lead. The bitch that if you couldn’t see her you knew she’d be right where you needed her.

We are grateful for the pups she’s left us with, although they do have pretty big shoes to fill.

She truely was a one in a million kinda dog and left an imprint on our hearts 🤍

While we were away at Dalby Challenge, we were blessed with another filly! She is out of KOOROON AMANDA by BOONARA MENTOR 🌻

Mum called Lachlan during the Rookie wet work to let us know. Lachlan spoke to her quickly before I took the phone and told Mum, ‘Lachlan’s gotta go, he’s going to run a ninety’. He decided to one up and run a 91! In summary, it was a pretty good day 🫶

Lachlan Rockemer Performance Horses and Working Dogs has a position available for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated person who has a passion for the horse industry.
Located 35km north of Goomeri QLD, Lachlan Rockemer Performance Horses and Working Dogs specialises in breaking, training, campaigning and sale prep of Campdraft and Challenge horses, and breeding and training working dogs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge, with extras available for experienced and competent applicants.
Tasks would include but not limited to;
- Feeding of horses twice a day
- Rugging horses
- Catching horses
- Preparing horses to be ridden
- Sale preparation and presentation
- Carrying out necessary vet requirements
- General tidying up

Accommodation options can be discussed.

I have 2 border collie dog pups, out of my Chocolate and white bitch by Curtis Illett’s yellow and white collie dog (Brax). Pups are 9 weeks old and well grown.

Both parents are silent, predominantly head/ lead dogs but do work all positions with no heal. Good travelling dogs that are easy to have around.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I won’t be riding for at least the next 6 weeks, although I will be offering;
- Lessons/schools to be held or run
- Horses for sale, broken and unbroken
- Open to options, I could guide people through the first week of breaking in your own breakers
- If your after a pup keep an eye out in the next few days, I’ll be advertising two border collie pups

Also now is a great time to message me with new bookings or to confirm old bookings for breakers, trainers and campaign horses for after my recovery. We can discuss a plan that will best suit the horse, owner and what I have to offer.
