The eggs are doing well so far!
I candelled the green tree python eggs and all are fertile, but one doesn't have any veins yet so I'm keeping a close eye on it.
The Aurora's eggs are doing well!
The crosses are for eggs without veins and ticks are for eggs with veins.
However, one of the crosses has developed veins now!
Both clutches will hatch around the same time, so I'm gonna be very busy🤣
She FINALLY laid!
Flare laid 22 fertile eggs. No slugs.
Pairing: Flare x Osiris (aru x aussie green tree pythons)
Laid date: 6th of September
Estimated hatch date: (50-55 days) 26th-31st of October
I'm incubating at 30-30.5 degrees Celsius this year, and have moved the incubator into an air-conditioned room so the incubator doesn't fluctuate as much.
Flare weighed around 1.3kg before I paired her and now she weighs 880grams. She got all the eggs out perfectly.
What a good momma!

We are testing our 150 watt carbon fibre heat lamps and it's insane how quickly the element gets to extreme temperatures on full power. These carbon fibre lamps have a built-in mesh over the element, but like any heat source they must be used with a mesh lamp cage to avoid burns.

Why does something electrical ALWAYS go wrong when I get eggs🤦🤦🤦🤦
The power keeps tripping and been trying for about 3 hours before work to get the power back on but it keeps tripping and turning off.
So now I gotta wait at work while worrying about my eggs.
Someone is looking uncomfortable!

Well I was expecting a green tree python clutch today, but no!
Aurora decided she was going to be the first clutch this year!
I wasn't expecting her to lay for alittle while so I didn't add a nest box. But that didn't stop her 🤣
She has laid 7 gorgeous eggs. This photo was taken just before she got the last egg out.
Being her first season and she's a smaller girl, I was expecting a small clutch.
I am SOOOO excited to see what pops out!
Aurora is a chimera paradox 100% Dh albino axanthic
She was paired back to her dad which is a moonglow.
So there is sooo many different things that could pop out!
Look at that colour difference!
Flare is the blue one and Spectra is the green.
Look at how pretty Flare is in her hormonal blue!
Estimated lay date is the 29th of August but its anyone's guess!
Could be any day now.
This gorgeous girl is looking for her forever 🏠!
She was a picky eater at first but now she's smashing fuzzy rats.

These guys are big lizards and can do ALOT of damage.
They are friendly like this because I've spent countless hours with them building ropes of trust.
But I'm still cautious with them, and you'll see that when I offer my hand to them or start to pat them.
Now I am in their enclosure with no shoes on and pajamas, is that the safest thing? Absolutely not. But I know my lizards and I know what sets them off, which is fast movements and for Cyprus, the colour blue🤣
So I'm not doing any fast movements (or wearing blue🤣) so I'm generally gonna be pretty alright with them.
They also need to be fed, as they haven't eaten in alittle while. Just goes to show what time and patience does.

Pearl and Silver are looking awesome and should be ready to breed next season!
Pearl is a Albino Spotted python bred by Brett Moy (Cool vibes reptiles)
Silver is a super platinum spotted python bred by Savage reptiles
Both girls. I've got a het albino male spotted but I don't really have a male for Silver... I've got a granite pos het t+ male but that's it.
Hmm what should I pair her to?

She should lay within the next 2-3 weeks.
She's got alittle bit of shed on her but I'm not gonna stress her for that tiny bit.
But she shed earlier this year then last, so I'm being abit more cautious.
Let's guess how many eggs she's going to have!

Really friendly, around 220cm long, has been cooled so might breed this season.
Was meant to be a female, but it's actually a male.
He does have 2 bite marks on him, from pairing with a male. They are nearly all healed and once he sheds they will be gone.

My animals are my babies. Luckily I've got cameras in most of their enclosures so I can check on them when I'm not home.
*Surgery went well! Only had a laproscopy to see what's going on inside.
Got a week of work to recover, so you know what that means?
A whole week with the reptiles!
Also got some expos to plan.
By September I will have flyers for the 4 expos for 2025!
Echo has had quite the journey with me!
When he was a year old I sold him when I didn't have the money to keep him. I regretted that choice for the next 2 years and out of the blue, someone messaged me saying "I think I have your lizard"
I was SHOCKED. I couldn't believe it, saw the photos, and it was my Echo!
He's been back for awhile now and he's doing well! He's such a big boy. He'll always have a place here!
Unfortunately due to the second owner not keeping up with the socialisation, he isn't as friendly as he used to be. But he's getting more confident, day by day.

While trying to out Fralon back in the enclosure, Saphira came out onto me!!! I was super shocked by this! She's been super skiddish compared to Fralon and I was not expecting her to come up to me!

This enclosure is pretty much done!
