Play n Paws | Currently servicing Bulimba and surrounding suburbs has been running for 11 years. We take dogs on 30 minute group adventures around east Brisbane. We pick up and drop off while you’re at work so you don’t have to worry about walking the dog at the end of the day. On average adventure times run for 1-3 hours. Run and owned by a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist Tammy Peters.

💜💚Pooch of the week -“HERMANN”

Hi everyone my names Hermann and I’m a Miniature Schnauzer.

I’ve only been going on adventures for a few years now and was a little dubious at first of all the new dogs, especially because most of them were so much bigger than me.

So Tammy kept me upfront with her for awhile until I was comfortable enough to ride with the others at the back.

I soon discovered they are all so kind and patient and now love riding at the back with the other dogs.

I’m a little guy but with a big heart, so I do like to be in front of the pack when we go on adventures.

I can be unsure at times but having the other dogs around helps me build confidence. I’m still working on my confidence around water but that’s ok, I like to watch the other dogs make a splash.

My best friend is Phoenix, we love to walk side by side on our walks. He’s also lots of fun at the park.

The dogs got muddy wet on Thursday during the hottest day of the week. Yes they were dirty but at least they were happy. 😃

💜💚Pooch of the week -“PANDA”

Hi everyone I’m Panda, I’m a malamute X German shepherd mix and I’m by far the biggest hound that comes on adventures. I’m probably the size of 3 average dogs.

Now just because I look big and scary I’m not, I’m just a big goof ball and love my adventure days.

I’ve been going on adventures since I was a pup after a one on one consultation for my mischief behaviour as a puppy. I think that’s been 10 years of adventures. Also I’m happy to report I grew out of my mischief phase, and only just a little mischief now lol.

My best friend on adventures is Ollie the black retriever. Probably because we both are the older ones and started adventures around the same time.

Even though I’m older I just want to go go go, must be my malamute genetics. So on the walk Tammy’s asking me to “slow down big boy”.

I’m happy to as long as Tam lets me wee lots along the way. That’s our unspoken arrangement.

💚💜Adventures with Tam

Well there was no avoiding the heat this week. Summer was here for sure.

But luckily the dogs had some swims, and lots of wet downs, lots of spray bottles and misted fans blowing, along with iced water to drink. I even bought my slinky hose to group spray hehe. They’re a spoilt bunch.

We had so much fun together this week. Kansas and Vinnie didn’t quite make it to the water, the world’s first golden retrievers that don’t like swims. Little Herman was happy to watch the rest. I’m sure over time he’ll gain some confidence. And Chilli and Suki just splashed the water in their own little world. Phoenix of course loves the water and I had a hard time bribing him out of it haha.

But overall a great week with the crew.

I know more swims and hose downs to come 💦

💜💚🐕‍🦺Pooch of the week- “CHARLI”

Hi my name is Charli. I may look young but I’m not a puppy. I’ve been going on adventures for around 9 years. Maybe longer…

I love adventure time because I get to wee and sniff everything in sight lol. Tammy always asks me to slow down because if I was allowed I’d be way out front leading the pack.

I am really just a sweetheart but if I see dogs on the telly, I’d show them who’s boss by barking at them to “go away”.

My best friend is Yogi who is also an “oodle” mix like me. We love to walk and wee side by side.

I also love staying with Tam and Jordan for Xmas🎄. They spoil us with lots of treats and new toys on Xmas day.

💜💚Adventures with Tam

We were warned of a heat wave this week of close to 40. ☀️ 🥵

Although it was hotter than normal im glad to announce no heat wave was endured.

The pooches don’t seem to notice the change of weather (I do lol) and still have as much energy and gustar in the summer than in the cooler days.

Their eternal joy in times when most would find frustrating or bothered, reminds me to be grateful to even see and experience these summer and hotter days. Plus it’s good for the immune system 🤓

💜💚Adventures with Tam

We’re definitely heating back up for summer. So ensuring the dogs stay cool is our number one priority.

From walking in cooler areas, (if it’s on pavement or the road always ensuring it’s cool to the touch and shaded) always having frozen iced water to drink, having the misted fans going and spray bottles available, and occasional swims are just some of the ways we prioritise keeping the dogs cool during the warmer days.

The dogs wellbeing is always our number one priority.

The pooches enjoyed their adventures of late. From colmslie to seven hills to east Brisbane.

We’ll be doing a pooch of the week post each week to highlight one of our pnp pooches. It’s a great way to learn more about the crew that come out with your pups.

Also we’ve been a little inconsistent with posts due to camera issues caused by the apple manufacturer, I had to bite the bullet and upgrade my phone so will be back to weekly posts. Thank you for your patience.

💜💚pooch of the week -“BIGGIE”

A new post each week to celebrate the individuality of one of our Playnpaws pooches.

Hi I’m Biggie, as you can tell I’m small but big in nature. I can run circles (literally) around you if you let me.

I’ve been going on adventures for around 2 years now.

It all started by seeing my neighbour chilli going on adventures all the time. So my human Dan decided maybe I’d enjoy it too.

At first I was a little anxious of going in a new vehicle with new dogs and would try and hide under the seat, but now I love travelling with my friends, they’re all so friendly and get so excited when I hear the pnp caddy pull up.

My best friend is Vinnie (the black and tan retriever who always gets mistaken for a Rottweiler) who I love to give dog kisses to and play tag with at the park.

I love adventures because I have a lot of energy to burn although I do enjoy a cuddle from Tammy at times too.

Some of my fav pics from the past few weeks. It’s certainly winter 🥶 and the dogs seem to love their brisk walks with some of their favourite friends.

I love seeing how they respond to each other when I pick each of them up, some have clear besties that just bounce off eachothers energies and some of the softer more introverted dogs are opening up more and more each week. It’s beautiful to see.

Introducing our newest member Henry the Boston terrier. Such an energetic friendly little guy. The pack absolutely adore him already.

Beautiful winter days with a spice of sunshine makes for perfect adventure days. Pooches have been so happy. It makes me smile to see how much they look forward to their special outings with their friends. ✨💖💖🦮🐕‍🦺

We say goodbye to one of our oldest clients and the coolest whippet duo in Brisbane. Floyd and jack.

I’ve had both Floyd and Jack since pups- for Floyd that’s 10 years of adventures!

They’re moving out of my jurisdiction so had one last soirée with the lads before saying goodbye.

You will be missed my boys ❤️❤️

Well it’s 2024 in the second month already!!

What a beautiful start to the year being with this gorgeous lot whose little quirks and traits can keep me entertained and laughing all day. They’re a joy to be around.

Just a note our Feb holiday will be postponed till later in the year so for now we will conintue with adventures as per usual.

I will send a text out as well to confirm closer to the time.
