I am very fortunate in my everyday life, to be learning all about animal behaviour, what they need, and lots of hints and tips. I attend Happy Paws Happy Hearts twice a week, supporting my client one day, and my son another day.
Did you know most cats prefer to drink running water instead of still water in a bowl, which is why a water fountain is a good option instead of the kitchen tap 🤣
Did you know cat to cat litter ratio should be 1 cat = 2 trays of litter? Maybe 3 for 2 cats.
It's higher than 1-1 ratio.
To provide good enrichment for exotic pets such as Guinea Pigs and Rats, simply move their items around in their environment after a clean. It's like a whole new world to explore. 😊
When meeting a dog for the first time, ask the owner if it's ok to pat. Hold out your hand for sniffing, then rub/pat/scratch under and around. Not on top of their heads. It can be misunderstood as threatening in dog language.
