Specialised Rat Minding Service!
I highly recommend Connie, she is one of the best rat sitters in Brisbane!

Doesn’t Barnam have the cutest snoot! So tempting to boop but given he is deaf and blind, we don’t want to spook the little baby!
He’s had a weekend with us and has been the best boy! His mum wants another trip camping next weekend so we get more snuggles again soon too! 💕

I am very fortunate in my everyday life, to be learning all about animal behaviour, what they need, and lots of hints and tips. I attend Happy Paws Happy Hearts twice a week, supporting my client one day, and my son another day.
Did you know most cats prefer to drink running water instead of still water in a bowl, which is why a water fountain is a good option instead of the kitchen tap 🤣
Did you know cat to cat litter ratio should be 1 cat = 2 trays of litter? Maybe 3 for 2 cats.
It's higher than 1-1 ratio.
To provide good enrichment for exotic pets such as Guinea Pigs and Rats, simply move their items around in their environment after a clean. It's like a whole new world to explore. 😊
When meeting a dog for the first time, ask the owner if it's ok to pat. Hold out your hand for sniffing, then rub/pat/scratch under and around. Not on top of their heads. It can be misunderstood as threatening in dog language.

Did you know there’s a QLD rodent fanciers group that runs not for profit to educate people on owning rodents as pets?

They do bi-monthly events where rat owners and breeders can enter their pets and prized mouse and rats into a show? Well I didn’t either!

After the darling Rachie from suggested to *Sarah that she try entering some of her ratties to the pet category she went along for the first time today and she well and truly cleaned up the awards!

Taking home best pet in show in the largest category (Adult Female Pet Rat) with Cream (my fave of her mischief) and a Sneaky second place in the (Senior female pet) range with Caramel.

Well done Sarah! This prize is scored on health, how well handled a rat is and their comfortably with the judges.

You are a lovely rat owner and deserve to be appreciated for the great job you do with your animals.

You should also be so proud of yourself and how far you’ve come overcoming boundaries to accessibility that most people couldn’t even begin to understand. 💖

I never thought I'd be a rat person 🤣 my day job put me in a position late last year where I had to give daily medication to a rat.
Suffice to say I am quite used to being around rats now, my client has at least 7!

I took care of this 18 year old queen 👑 in her palace for a weekend in early August. She is blind, deaf, incontinent and required medication twice daily. 🐶👑😍

I house sat and minded 3 pets for a professional couple in Coorparoo back in June. A gorgeous puppy, a young kitty and an older kitty. Happy days 😁😍🐕🐈 video in comments 😊
