This is one of the reasons why I love raising money and awareness for they take the time to message, call, comment, or post to show their appreciation. This is by no means why I do this every year, but small gestures like this make a huge difference.
It's an absolute pleasure to help raise funds and, most importantly, awareness for H&N. I am an open book with my journey, and if I help at least one person, it makes all the s**t I went through worthwhile.

A short walk this morning to for an ice caramel latte and some exercise for Coops before the heat kicks in. Just me and Coops as Phil is working today.
I'm still recovering from being unwell the other week (it's really hanging around, and I still feel off), so it will be a quiet wknd for us.
On the plus side, it's the last Netball Saturday, and Graceville will go back to being peaceful for a while, and I will be able to reopen Saturday morning pick-ups 🍪🎂🍩

I had the weekend off here at Coopers Cookies, and what a weekend it was. Full of birthday celebrations for one of my besties 💗 Friday night, I organised a night away in Brisbane CBD. We started with dinner and cocktails @taitaisouthbank and then headed to @atqpac for the Tina Turner musical, which was fantastic. Then, late night snacks and more cocktails @bar_rosa_southbrisbane Saturday morning started with breakfast and then off to relax @soak.bathhouse in West End, which was so lovely, I would highly recommend going here. Saturday night was dinner with family and friends. All of this was a suprise for the birthday girl💕 And finally, this morning was some quality time with my boys. A delicious brunch @le_coin_bistro_ and a walk through Victoria Park. It's so important to cherise and nuture your relationships and celebrate as much as you can, especially as you get older.

Sweet girl Kiara very fittingly had two cakes to help her celebrate her 2nd birthday. Her photo shoot cake was themed "Two the Moon" in pink, purple, and blue with clouds, stars, and a crescent moon. And the party cake was Two Wild in greens and pinks Both in our strawberry, apple, and coconut cake flavour using buckwheat and coconut flours. (custom Kiara is Two topper and cute little lion purchases by Kiaras mumma)

Friday night date night - dinner and a movie 🍽🍿 We headed to South City Square in Woolloongabba and had a yummy dinner @suesburgersandshakes The burgers are so good, and the peanut butter milkshake is delicious. Then off to see Alien Romulus @angelikaaustralia I'm a huge Alien fan and this cinema did not disappoint, it's so beautifully put together and I loved all the movie murals throughout the cinema. We didn't take Coops tonight, but @southcitysq is dog friendly with lots of dining options, and it's such a pretty venue. Angelika Cinema also offers dog friendly movie sessions.

We just got back from a short getaway to Port Macquarie to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Port Macquarie is very dog friendly do I thought I'd share some of our holiday highlights. Day 1 - Brisbane to Port Macquarie We headed off early with a few water and pee stops along the way for Coops. Our main stop was at Yamba for brunch and a walk near the beach and rick pool. Once we arrived in Port Macquarie, we took Coops for a walk and swim at Lighthouse Beach (Dog friendly) and then checked in at our accommodation @saltbythe.sea. This was a lovely unit, super dog friendly, great location, a short walk to Flynns Beach and Nobby Beach (Dog Beach) as well as restaurants and cafes. We headed into town for dinner @chopnchill_au and a walk along the waterfront.
