Litter Announcement! Bengazi (previously VonAnhalt German Shepherds) membership number 4100143112) is happy to announce the arrival of a strong, healthy litter of black, sable and black & tan German Shepherd puppies. Details of the litter are: Sire is Schutzshep Galaxy (aka Jag) who is under development in IGP in Sydney and currently holds a BH certificate and is working towards is IGP 1. Jag is a highly driven and well balanced dog possessing sound temperament. He is a highly workable dog who should pass these qualities on to his progeny. Dam is Haveloc Quest, currently under development in IGP sport. Qwest has a sound, stable temperament, good drives and has been cat friendly since the day of her arrival. Great care has been taken to select the parents for outstanding temperament and health. Both parents have excellent pigmentation and have been hip and elbow scored and passed suitable for breeding. The puppies will be temperament tested at 7 weeks of age and will be allocated from the result of that testing. The puppies are being raised as part of a family with all the hustle and bustle that comes with that. The early all important socialisation process has been started. Our puppies have met people of all ages, including children, friendly adult dogs, friendly cats, and even a flock of stalking Call ducks. Our ducks stalk everything - our cats, the resident crows and of course nosey pappies! But the stalking came to an end when the puppies discovered their herding abilities. The puppies have also been subjected to different noises, household noises and many different things they might encounter in their future lives so that the little guys can develop into confident, well mannered adult dogs that can cope with anything life might through at them. This loving upbringing will help them to be welcome anywhere in our community! We expect the puppies to be suitable for herding, tracking, agility, search & rescue work, Delta therapy dogs and the be st companions one could hope for. In fact 3 of our dogs worked as Delta therapy dogs and one worked as a duck herding dog. And now enjoy the pictures!
