7yr old, 15.2hh TB mare out of Olympic Glory. Pia is a stunning and talented young mare with a very bright future ahead of her. Pia retired sound from racing after showing no interest, was spelled for 12 months then bought by myself in Feb 2022. She has since gained a solid flatwork and jumping education.

She has been to numerous competitions and outings in eventing and showjumping, competing up to 90cm and training 1m at home with plenty of scope to go higher. Pia is eligible for Equimillion in 2024, has a current TSHA licence and has competed in past Thoroughbred classes such as the Maiden Teams Challenge at TSHA Nationals 2022. She displays a good technique over fences and is careful, in which I personally believe her forte lies within showjumping. Pia could also be an ideal broodmare.

Over the last 6 months she has been inconsistent work to myself moving away for Uni but she has been back in work for the last 2 months. Pia has no vices and is easy to catch, shoe, worm, etc. She is a very sweet girl but can be quirky, therefore she will require a knowledgeable and experienced rider that is familiar with green horses and OTT’s. She has the potential to be a very competitive and successful horse.

Pia once again showing much scope but a little too much attitude.
It was also a pleasure to ride the gorgeous ‘Bertie’ for his owners. Second time riding him and he was amazing, both a rider and crowd pleaser 🤩

Many thank you’s to the people who have supported me and my ponies this past year. With the weather and injuries,it wasn’t as productive of a year as I had planned but we still achieved a hell of a lot and I secured myself some gorgeous horses to work with, both my own and clients.

Jasper’s Hill is taking a step back this year as I move away to Armidale for Uni with just Pia (until Simon is cleared for work) and won’t be in the position to take on anymore ott’s or client horses but I still hold big plans for the future.

A massive weekend for ’Jaspers Hill Piscopia’ at the TSHA Strawberry Hill National Titles. We were very honoured to be chosen to ride for the Godolphin Lifetime Care Team in the Maidens Team Challenge on Saturday in the main arena where she didn’t put a foot wrong, taking in the big atmosphere as though she’d done it all before.
It was a huge learning curve for both myself and her , with it only being her 4th show. The talent this mare has is exceptional, the rider just needs to learn how to make good use of it…
The biggest of thank you’s to Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association for running such a wonderful event to showcase OTT’s life’s after racing and all the other sponsors for allowing this event to happen!

Super successful day yesterday at the inaugural ‘Thoroughbred Spring Fair’ Show.
Jaspers Hill Piscopia (Pia) took home 🥈 and 🥉 in the 70cm and 80cm and reminded us all on how talented she is.
Thank you organisers of the show for allowing us to showcase the talent and versatility of this breed.

“FAETHM”
6yr old, 16.2hh, quality bred TB gelding by Deep Field, sold for $300,00 as a yearling.

Retired sound from racing in 2020 with no injuries during or post racing.

Kevin is worth his weight in gold with his unsinkable nature and talent as a perfect potential interschools mount or ladies dressage or hacking mount. He possess more qualities of a laid back old man than an off the track thoroughbred.

He presents an overall lovely picture with 3 flowing paces and good looks. Kev is a straightforward and beautiful ride, trained up to novice and is just beginning some elementary movements. He has never placed out of the top 10 in every dressage test he has done, consistently scoring high 60’s to low 70’s.

He has show jumped and evented up to 80cm since the start of the year and is happy to cruise around the lower fences but I feel as though his forte is in the dressage or hack arena as that is where he feels happiest.

He is perfect to take to shows, out on trails and roads and easy to handle in every way. Doesn’t need consistent work, comes back in after a break perfectly. He is a very talented horse that is quick to learn, willing to please and holds a lot of potential. Though he is quiet, he is not for beginners and would suit an ambitious rider.

Only selling due to his rider (myself) going to Uni next year and his owner lacking time. We both love this horse very much as we know how special he is so he will only go to an approved home.

Piscopia (Pia) this afternoon being amazing ! This little mare has only been back in work for 2 weeks after having a couple months off due to some very deep seated abscesses. This was her 2nd jump back today and I’m so impressed. I know they say you can’t keep them all but this one might be an exception 🤩
