The love we have for this filly is immense, she is everything I wanted to breed and is proving to be another amazing cross with the late, great Truly Priceless out of the gorgeous and talented BCR Smoochin for Fame.

I’m super excited about ‘Winnie’ future as an all rounder and her little Youth owner aka Mckenna (already had her first sit in her)!

Well as the dust settles after five days of showing at tonimbuk for Southern & VIC Paint State I can reflect back on the week with pride for our little team of horses and people. BIG thank you to all show/event organisers we appreciate all your efforts to run a show like this it’s a credit to you all. To the sponsors that kindly supported the show and events we won were very grateful also for your generosity.

Some huge PBs were made and self progress!

Many thanks to our beautiful show horses for busting their hearts to be awesome and get better and better each day, to my forever amazing JOPH family and new friends that make our time away special.

Gracie & Tiger (1st high point award 🥇) first HSE, nailed the trail lope overs and learnt so much in the week. Yes many wins but for us all your progress together was the highlight 🫶🏻.

Mel and little Sid the Sloth…. We’re do I start, I’m so so proud of this horse! He has come so far and carted us both around and simply tried his heart out. Thank you for trusting him in the program and welcome back to showing after a long hiatus and woo hoo first show down riding your boy 👏🏻 ❤️ still that horsemanship was my highlight and that lope 🤤

Huge shout out to mum and dad for being the best amazing grandparents minding the most precious little human Mckenna all week and too Aunty Connie & Aunty Bec you’re the BEST sister a girl could ask for.

What a jam packed weekend!!
Half the team went to PQHA “AA” show on the weekend with some great results. Thank you to the committee for all your hard work leading into the show and on the day, it sure was a hot one! We appreciate the efforts that go into running these events to enable us to show and enjoy our horses.

Thank you to those who sponsored the various classes we won and hi point senior horse, we’re very grateful.

Shout out to Show'n Fancy Western Outfitters for our beautiful pad on the special boy.

Meanwhile our northern team showed at sugarloaf and had great success at the ranch and performance show! Awesome job Lucy, Lara & Shine!

We would like to congratulate the new owner of our very special horse ‘Get Lucky’ aka Phoenix.

The time has flown by from when I pulled this precious boy into the world & rang his new mum to be at 11:30 at night to tell her “it has balls, you have a new horse”! He is the last foal we had from our very special mare Pink N Boon imp.

Over the years our friendship turned into family with this little red roans journey with his mum Connie. Both my parents handled him as a youngster & I broke him in before he went off to be cutting trained and featured in cutting horse training videos with Todd Graham. Phoenix then returned home to add a few more events to his repertoire in the Ranch All Round, horsemanship & trail with great success… a true all round horse.

He has won many accolades but most importantly many hearts along the way, his beautiful kind soul is now set to bring his new mum much joy and happiness.

I’m so proud of my dear friend Connie for the job she has done learning how to ride and train and perfect her showing on this boy, the countless hours of time travelled for lessons, unconditional love and care put into him has made him the horse he is today & we never could have asked for a better home.

All of us at Team JOPH are so thrilled to see his new mums journey and help her along the way with one of our forever favourite boys. While selling horses like this brings a flood of tears throughout all involved they are happy tears to see the joy and happiness he has already brought a lady in such a short time & that’s exactly why we make special horses but find exemplary loving homes for outcomes like this.

Big hugs to my dear friend Connie, I know this has been very hard but I know how filled with happiness your heart is seeing him snuggle into his new mum.

We will let his new mum announce in her own time, please encourage her along the way, it’s always hard jumping on a horse that’s well known but we know you’ll nailed it xx 😘

As the year is coming to a close I reflect back through great moments and photos, id like to thank my beautiful family & friends that keep the ‘Team JOPH’ wheels spinning.

I’m blessed to have clients that are family to us, making fun life long memories together with our horses & kids, the friendship, love and support never goes unnoticed.

To our beautiful team of horses I’m very grateful to have such a talented team of ponies and the future sure does look bright.

Now for the kids…. You make me proud to be your coach to see your get up and try & try again, some may see the ribbons won, but I see the hard work, frustration, tears and light bulb moments all come together before the success and most of all the love you have for your horses.

To my ‘over 18 years clients’ what a group of exceptional women to be around, the positivity and fun we have should be bottled! I think not only for our kids and each other but for those around us you’re all inspirational in different ways. From varying successful careers, love and care shown to one another and talent upon horse back certainly you all are forces to be reckoned with.

I’m excited for next year and years beyond with you all and our many laughs and support to enjoy the sport we love together.

Have a merry Christmas and here’s to 24!

Day one of Vic State QH Championships I’m super proud of this young lady, Lucy McEachern from utterly despising showmanship to now loving it & winning achieving personal bests 🥇 I’m super proud kiddo you’ve come so far. Great job Shine looking after our little Lucy ❤️

‘Nifty November’ was a fun laid back show for us, so nice to catch up with friends and begin to regroup for the big shows coming up in next six months.

Treasured friend time, great horses, puppies and ticking Personal Bests off was the highlight the wins and placing a mere second to the fun.

Thanks to my beautiful team of humans, safe travels home.

Checking the fences…. I’m a big believer in taking horses out in pasture/trail riding keeping their mind fresh, stretch their legs, picking their feet up and being horses. Makes for better all round horses 😇

TWELVE years in the making the come back tour of my most favourite boy Taz ❤️ He hasn’t been ridden since he was six after suffering a career ending injury…. Until today! My heart is full & happy, just getting ready for his tiny tot youth rider Mac 😜🥰

Just a shout out to my incredible mum for working the girls while I’m on the final few weeks of pregnancy 🤰. These two mares are owned by us and mum is a legend working the babies…. watch for the old ground tied little legend Prada in the background supervising the little one. Prada is making a come back to the pen at sizzler with a very excited little small fry youth.

Well guys thought I’d share this so you can have a laugh like we did, I’ve never thrown a rope in my life and had a serious oh god moment when I realised I have to throw a rope for the ranch horse show 🙈 here is my first attempt at catching my wild father 😝 one week to perfect it.... 😬

Slowly starting weaning process if only all foals where this easy! Shout out to mum & dad for looking after the bubs & starting separation while I’m away at work! Five more sleeps my darling boys!!

😝 Too funny not to share..... Taz just had his dental & is coming out of sedation (he is a light weight on sedation) and is snoring 🤣 I reckon he could give Eddie a run for his money! I never knew horses could snore after 30yrs of having them. #todayslifelesson
