Don’t forget we are closed tomorrow! Happy Thursday
Trust the process even if it means it’s slow let our little people learn correctly from the beginning. Featuring Peyton Lee and the wonder pony Betty Spaghetti 🎀
This is some of the preparation that goes on behind the scenes that not everyone shares. Shiloh is currently working hard towards her goal of riding off the lead at her first big show for her riding class. With three lessons a week practicing and training she is living and breathing this moment. Learning simple changes, how to keep the pony cantering, diagonals, hands, seat, feet, workouts and so much more!
This is where it gets super beautiful⬇️
Shiloh spent her Sunday afternoon playtime making an arena, judges and some of her favourite people out of loose parts that she wants to watch her work out for her big day.
Just a reminder it’s not always about the riding but this is only a small portion of the preparation that goes into creating a successful show day. Shiloh will often sit with me and watch others ride at shows and we chat to her about her ring craft and key points to remember. A lot of a 6 year old you may say? I don’t feel it is when they are wanting to spend time working on their riding and actively listening and trying every single moment of every single lesson. Congratulations Shiloh I am beyond proud of you!
💜
Our next two Saturdays are fully booked already. I have created a waiting list to try to assist people in finding a spot if it becomes available. Happy riding 🥰
People always often ask me what their child gains from horse riding. As a Mum myself I look at it from the perspective of it is an interest, it teaches resilience, problem solving, develops receptive language, builds core strength and most of all the friends they make along the way!
Peyton is 4 and has already developed some very strong friendships and both Bryce and I love this so much. With Peyton being an only child these friendships mean the world to both us and her. This weekend she spent time riding with the big girls and gained so much from this!
