Well time for my recap from the 2024 National TSHA titles! A Massive thank you to Krissy Harris and the team at Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association ! Definitely one of our favourite event each year. Such a great way to celebrate the Thoroughbreds and all they can do ! Thank you guys for all your work !

Hathras was a star taking out for the second year running Elementry National champion ! He did two beautiful tests even with an injured rider. A very bittersweet way to start our break while I get my surgery and heal, he never fails to help get me through the tough times. Another beautiful rug thanks to Stable 8 Custom Horse Rugs. And a big thank you to Equidae Botanicals for sponsoring the class.

Not only did Hat bring home the winnings in the dressage but Odie - Bullet speed also pulled off 5th place overall in the Novice Dressage (even with an error from the rider still getting a 68% ! Such a bright future for this dude, a much easier ride defiantly enjoy only needing a 15 min warmup.

Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for your help over the two days, now to enjoy some time off !

Thank you to Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for all their help as always with everything

And thank you to Annabel Zeisler Photography for the great photos

A not so fun post on the recap from Camden... But a highlight was Hat pulling off a fantastic dressage test and sitting 5th in the 3* class but sadly we had to scatch after this.

We found out on the Tuesday before that due to an old accident that has been causing some issues in my hip I would be needing surgery. Finally finding out some answers such a relief after so long. We made the call to go to camden and see how long I could last. After walking the xc realising the pain was not something I could withstand I made the decision to scratch before showjumping. Hopefully in 3 weeks I'll have a date for surgery and can get back to it pain free... but a few quiet months from now until after recovery.

Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for your support at the event and to everyone at home helping. Onwards and upwards to the recovery !

Well its recap timeee a little late having alot going on but here we go... Qurindi 3DE. Thank you to the comittee for a fantastic event!

Hat was feeling fresh for his dressage and had some spicy moments reminding us of his quirks ... He stepped back up the 3* and had a fantastic cross country round, Sadly a rider decison left us taking 20 pens but to no fault of Hat. He was super confident through the entire course. He had a great showjump round with just 3 rails... slowly improving which is great to see.

Odie (Bullet speed) cruised around another 80cm, he had a lovely test sitting in 9th position, a clear cross country round even with a loose horse galloping past. Showjumping was a bit feisty collecting 8 pens but great to get another xc round clear.

Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for venturing and helping for the weekend. And to grovenor photography for the great photos

The boys ventured out to Stonewall Equestrian on friday. A beautiful day out thank you to the organisers !

We were lucky evough to go to Scone Horse Trials last weekend, What an incredible venue !! Such a well run event , a huge thank you to all involved in pulling this event together ! We can't wait until next year!

Hat really put his best foot forward, being second on didn't have high expectations ... but Hat set the pace getting 30penalities sitting in second place from the go. He showjumped extremely well with only 2 rails. Sadly spraining my ankle just before did not help his drift leading to a poor line on my behalf. As always a superstar on cross country loving galloping around the polo fields with a perfect clear round. Hat ending up finishing in 8th in the 2*

Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for coming and helping up all weekend. To Wyong Equine Clinic - Shelley Topham for helping get Hat back feeling himself. Thank you to Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for all their help as always for everything. To Horseland Central Coast for fitting me out in our new air vest helping us stay safe out on course. And a special to Essential Equestrian Wear for getting Hat all his supplements to help him get back into action and feeling good to compete.

Thank you Lisa Randle for the cross country photos!! and to Elegant Exposures - EE for capturing our dressage and showjumping, and the videos to come !

Siec Recap.... Both boys headed out last weekend. Hat did a run round around the 2*, a lovely dressage test sitting him in 6th. His showjumping improving thanks to some squad training sessions so adding a few pentalties to his score but making it on course. He was stoked to make it out on cross country making it look easy.

Odie- Bullet speed had another 80cm run, a lovely little test getting 3x8s a rider error slipping him down the placings ... good one on my behalf haha. Sadly a bad warmup meant a couple rails for a rattled Odie. Odie was super on Cross country also making it look easy.

Both boys needing some more showjump practice but super happy for first event back. Thank you to Kylie Fuerschke for all your help all weekend. And to Kane Boyle and Alex Fuerschke for maning the fort at home.

And a huge thank you to the committee Sydney Eventing @ SIEC for running another great event!

Thanks Bronte Mednis Photography and Taylor Harris Photography for the photos

As always we wouldn't be where we are without Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett and Kylie Fuerschke thank you guys for all your help and support. Hat is now enjoying a spell after a big year.

Equimillion update ! What a fantastic day it was, a 4am start for Mum and I heading to Siec for a 8:08 test. Hat was a star, after a few rough months it all came together on the right day. Hat cracked our goal of 2023 getting a 72% a pb for us. I was almost more excited about this rather then the fact he had just won his first test of the day. He had a great second test, even keeping concentration with the cross country running at the end of our arena. With alot of squealing when the results came in Hatty also won his second test winning the Open Elementary Champion ! What a crazy feeling, our first winners circle and his first big champion ribbon... oh yeah and that crazy cheque. As first good use of the winnings he will be helping pay for his vet bill for once !

Hathras wasn't a slow racehorse he was great, a group 1 winner actually and even had his sights on the 2013 Melbourne cup. But with an injury and gelding him taking his drive to win away he eventually found is way to me thanks to some amazing friends. What a challenge it has been, but worth every step.

A huge thank you to Equimillion for a fantastic event! And a huge thank you as always to Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for all their help with Hat over the past 5 years, its been a journey of alot of ups and downs but nice to have it all come together, now to get his showjumping as good as his dressage....

Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for all your help with everything ! And to Alex Fuerschke for your loan to help me pay the entry... Think we can pay you back with interest this time haha

And thank you Essential Equestrian Wear for all our last minute forgotten items like shampoo and shine spray had alot of compliments on how good his coat looked on the day.

And thank you to Simon Scully Photography for some fantastic photos ! Check out that definition in his muscles !

In absolute shock still, our first ever winners circle ! Full update to come, heres me trying to remember what to say and not get completely frazzled. Thank you Equimillion for this incredible event ! My super coach Craig Barrett Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for everything you have done over the years helping me train Hat to what he is today. And my amazing Mum Kylie Fuerschke and Dad Alex Fuerschke for their endless support πŸ’™ more to come 😍

Last weekend Hat and Odie travel to equestriad. Odie at his third ever event and killed it, he was sitting 9th after dressage in the 80cm, he had a cracker cross country round flying around with ease, he just added one rail to his dressage score and finished 9th overall. It wasn't Hats weekend but we loved being able to do our dressage in tails thanks to Rachael Temm for letting me borrow it! Sadly we didn't get to have a run around cross country, Hat is doing better now, we now know he has a high pain tolerance and was hiding some super soreness which he's recovered from now. Thanks Britt Grovenor Photography for Hattys first tails photos. And to Kylie Fuerschke for helping us all weekend!

Can't forget Odie (Bullet speeds) update from Tamworth ! Odie did a beautiful test in the 80cm and managed to sit 6th after dressage ! Not bad for his second ever test. He did an interesting showjump round demonstrating how not to stay straight down related lines... taking 2 rails due to this. He did however had a fantastic run around his first 80cm Cross country course, not noticing the height at all went around like he had been doing it for years, such an easy ride around the course. Odie managed a 12th place out of 38 riders. A bright future ahead for this Ott.

Tamworth CCN update... Well where do we begin! First 3* completed clear ! Dressage was... more then eventful with Hat showing the judges he wanted to go cross country with many leaps across the arena.. just glad he didn't jump out. We were all in shock laughing at his display including the poor judges.. his marks went from 7.5 to 3's , it was an interesting test. He finished showjumping with just 3 rails and was well and truely ready to get on course. He was an absolute gun on cross country helping me get around safey even when I was stressed. So proud of the horse he has become always keeping us on our toes, whether its his showjumping or now apparently dressage. We finished the event with just some time penalties and he recovered great finishing in 13th. A massive thank you to Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for all your help along the way. To Kylie Fuerschke and Alex Fuerschke for your endless support and Kane Boyle for helping me laugh away the nerves this weekend. Also to Emma Mason Equestrian for your help too with the Hat man. So lucky to have an amazing support team to make it all possible. Thanks to the wonderful comittee Tamworth International Eventing for a fantastic event. (Odies update to come ). Thank you Britt Grovenor Photography for your incredible photos πŸ’™
