As a lot if you know realise we are booked out for many weeks.
Recently we were lucky enough to have someone join us that could help with the clipping. Sadly that didn't last long as we are too fast paced. They have no gone.
In my excitement extra dogs were booked in - to bring the wait time down ( and to cover wages)
Now we have the problem of 2 people trying to do 3 people's work.
So we are doing our absolute best but there will be times we run late so PLEASE bear with us.
PS if anyone can clip and wants a job!!

We need a bather and I would dearly live a groomers helper.( someone who can clip)
Tried tafe - no takers.

HEADS UP
Just want to let everyone know to PLEASE make your appointments in advance so you don't miss out. As from April we will be cutting back on the numbers we do each day as we cannot find staff.. 21 people have applied in the last 3 months, approx half have been no shows and the rest have stayed for a day or 2 - then gone. So we have decided to cut back until we find people who actually want to work.
Wait times will increase I am afraid but it can't be helped. Alternatively work out your dates and give me a list !!

We have found a new premises!!!! FINALLY
As you know our lease has expired and the owners want the building back. So we had to go
Our new shop will be about 800 mtrs south on Pioneer rd at the Enhance service station. We are where the Banner shop once was.
If you look at the service station from Pioneer rd there is a building to the right. That is us.
2 Railway St Corrimal.
PLEASE don't take your dog into the service station shop!! We will have signs and the SAME ph no if you get lost. There is a drop off spot out the front and parking on the left of the service station. Plus on street parking in front of houses.
Unfortunately this new and better premises comes at a price ( double the rent we were paying) so regrettably we must increase prices by $5 - $10 . I hope that you all understand that this has to happen for us to stay open.
So this is moving week, back open Tues 31st Jan. Come and say hi!!

Major whinge!!!
8pm and we are still at the shop Last dogs just finished. Seriously considering not looking for a new premises and giving up.
Finding reliable staffing impossible. Ian and I are killing ourselves trying to pick up the slack when one of the staff decides they are not coming in. We book for the amount of people working and recently it is a daily occurrence that there is a no show. Today just tipped me over the edge. Trying to find someone to help. Yes we managed to get someone ( not overly experienced but they tried and were a godsend)
Move the dogs to another day? Well we have no where to put them as we are booked for weeks. I suppose we could work on our day off to push us further into the ground.
So if there is a older , reliable person looking for work let me know. Otherwise I am done.
