So this happened yesterday and he is doing quite well.
He did have a brother but unfortunately he came backwards and was a bit big for Mildred to get out and he didnt make it 😔
But little Bean is gaining weight and Mildred loves him

Breeding is not all rainbows, Mildred here had an infection causing her to abort her babies last year and as a result may not be able to get pregnant again.
She is our only queen and in such a high demand breed, there are few breeders willing to share their lines (with good reason!)
However, this does make it hard for those doing the right thing.

We Dna test, both Mildred and Sherman carry one copy of the HCM gene.
We heart scan yearly, they have both been scanned clear in March.

If you are a breeder reading this and you are willing to share your lines, but also dna test and scan, please send me a message.
We would love to hear from you so that we can continue our sphynx journey.

GO SHERMIE!!
I entered Shermie into the RACQ Pet Search competition 8 weeks ago and got a call today letting me know he was one of the 10 winners!!!
He will get his photo taken and get to be in the advertising for RACQ Pet Insurance!

To say I am shocked and excited is an understatement!!!!
