Anya did so well today wining the 80 and 90 doubly proud as we bred and trained Calimero all the way with the help of Dan Steers and her Dad of course he left us the most beautiful horse. Deborah Pomeroy has been there all the way training the riders her support never waivers. Chris is always helping us on the sidelines making sure we get fed on a daily basis! We are so lucky 🍀 to have all thes amazing people in our lives and thank you so much Drew for giving up riding he was always supposed to be your horse but you prefer wheels and guns and all that boy stuff we really appreciate that 😊

At the PCWA Show jumping State Championships, Anya and Taunton Vale Calimero take second in the 80cm two-phase class, I still don’t know which is my favourite 😂

We had a fantastic weekend at Dardanup ODE Anya and Taunton Vale Calimero (Taunton Vale Pierro-Taunton Vale Blur) winning their first ode 65cm thank you to GT Fabrications and all the workers and sponsors. Special thanks to our Coach Deborah Pomeroy who has helped us every step of the way 😊

Lot 14 Taunton Vale Pierro
Ultimate family horse. Born and bred at Taunton Vale for five generations going back to our original mare Flicka like so many of our horses do. Bred on the stock horse quarter horse cross as we admired DFO’s progeny so much he has the best of both worlds. Pierro has always had a lot of presence which led us to keep him as a stallion. Kent campaigned him as a young horse and he won overall at all his Futurites at the WA ASHS State Champs, they continued to compete successfully in ASHS and Campdrafting. Nina rode him at home and in the odd Dressage test which he also succeeded at. After coming equal first at Mayanup Campdraft in 2018 Pierro maintained his maiden status. Due the untimely passing of Kent in 2019 we gelded Pierro knowing he would be the perfect horse for seven year old Anya, what a relief to be off the ponies! They have enjoyed pleasure riding, pony club and going to the odd campdraft, winning and placing many times. One highlight was jumping 1.10m during a lesson. He was the perfect horse for her to learn to ride and she is lucky to go onto his son Taunton Vale Calimero they are developing a magic partnership. Seeing we have many young horses and our focus is no longer campdrafting, we feel it is the perfect opportunity to hand over the reins to a new rider who can benefit from his years of breeding and experience. We are always happy to share further details and assist his new owner in forming a partnership as we do with every horse we sell, as we breed to sell.

Special Day today our Little One was born. Beautiful filly from Taunton Vale Little Sis by Yallambie Messiah. We were hoping for a grey but more than happy with our usual colour she know it suits our life style better.
