2ND BEST LICENSE PLATE
So not related to snakes I just wanted to show off my new plates for my other business which is a migration agency based in Diamond Creek.

It's of course not as good as the one for my Snake Hunter landcruiser but effective none the less

Eastern brown in the house in Mill Park. Was found under the couch while the family were keeping out of the heat. Apparently the snake had the same idea.

10 YEARS AGO I WAS CATCHING COBRAS IN PAKISTAN
I just found these old photos of a very junior Me catching cobras with Imran Hunter in Pakistan.

Here i am dressed in traditional Pakistani clothes while catching and handling the manacled cobra - endemic to the area.

I totally forgot these existed so here's me when I was young and handsome and enthusiastic about everything until life crushed my spirit - only kidding. I was never handsome :)

Also snakes are everywhere today/yesterday:
1. Kalkallo off donnybrook Rd
2. Hurstbridge opposite the train station.
3. Yarrambat off yan yen Rd
4. Diamond Creek off broadgully Rd
5. Greensborough on plenty river drive
6. Doreen in riverstone estate
7. Wattle Glen opposite the train station.

WHY ARE BROWN SNAKES NOW MORE PREVALENT THAN EVER BEFORE
In and around town, tiger snakes used to be the more common snake in most suburbs of Melbourne. There were still plenty of brown snakes. In the last 2 years I've begun to notice a significant trend - a staggering increase in the number of brown snakes. I believe this is for 2 reasons:
1. The relocation of tigers away from the area
2. Brown snakes thrive in suburbs eating mice which are attracted to humans. With houses, browns have much more places to lay there eggs and more food/water sources. They seem to be taking over significantly and for the first time I'm catching way more brown snakes than all the other snake species put together.

CAN I COME IN?
It is that time of year again where snakes are trying to enter the home... except they are about 3 months early. I think we are in fir a blockbuster if a snake season as I'm finding snake numbers are increasing.

Snakes are everywhere but do you need to be scared? No because if you have a snake:
1. Leave it alone and watch it from a snafe distance.
2. Call The Snake Hunter 0403875409 to attend.
3. Keep kids and pets away
4. Don't let someone play the "hero" role. Just watch it and follow the snake catcher's instructions.

Lost track of the number of snakes yesterday which was supposed to be cold. Keep in mind Saturday is apparently 27 degrees.

I look forward to catching snakes for you.

SUCCESSFUL HALLOWEEN TRIAL - LOLLIES AND LIZARDS
I'm so proud of Aishah.
Seven medical issues didn't stop her from Organising a local Halloween LOLLIES AND LIZARDS SPECIAL for the local Diamond Creek community.

People got to get LOLLIES, hold the lizards, see the turtles and frogs and dragons & pat some snakes.

We had a massive turnout. Expecting only 20 people we lost count about 300 visitors. Thanks again great community!

HELPING OUT WHERE SHE CAN - THE LONG ROAD TO RECOVERY. HALLOWEEN IS THE FIRST START

I'm so proud of Aishah.
This year she had to undergo brain surgery and can't catch snakes or really do any work at all. Aishah has been in a lot of pain for a long time, can't walk properly, and needs a disabled sticker on her car because of her ongoing medical issues.

Aishah has daily hospital appointments and undergoes painful tests multiple times a week. She's recovering slowly but needs a further major operation in about a months time, which will put her out of action for nearly 8 months.

In this year, Aishah lost almost all her friends who either didn't believe she was sick or didn't know how to be friends with someone so unwell. Other people pretended to be her friends but lied. A few individuals even attacked her for "not looking" disabled when in disability parking.

At only 21, Aishah did not let that get her down. She is still happy and positive and wants to help the community. While she can't do much at all physically, she will set up a small halloween stand at 77 patyah st Diamond Creek between 5pm - 6:30pm with lots of candy for anyone who dresses up and there will also lizards and reptiles to pat and see.

It's a short time only as that is all she can do for now so welcome all to get a Halloween treat!

THEY CAN HIDE ANYWHERE.
This brown snake was found in a milk crate beside the home. Snakes have the ability to hide almost anywhere and curl up into such a small area you would have no idea until you may accidentally pick one up. If you see a snake, call The Snake Hunter 0403875409 or go to www.snakehunter.com.au to learn more.
