Today was our very last day💕
We have been so spoilt over the last week from many of our wonderful clients and their pups.
So I would like to thank them all for the kindness of their caring words and gifts❤️❤️

I would also like to acknowledge Sian (one of our amazing groomers) and Kathy Kathy Short (our gentle bather).

Sian has been a wonderful employee who has such a natural skill with her dog grooming.
Sian has a really positive attitude and its been a good time working along side of her.
I know I will miss her making me cry tears (the good ones).
I wish her all the best with her new grooming role at Pericoota Vets❤️❤️

Kathy, our beloved bather, always gave so much care and love to our dogs. I'm sure most of the dogs felt like they were at a day spa, getting a gentle rub down whilst relaxing in her care.
Kathy was our mother hen, with her voice of reason and her caring, loving nature.
Kathy is a legend and I wish her all the best in the future❤️❤️

Once again, thankyou so much for supporting my business for the last 16 years.
It was always a dream of mine to work so closely with animals and I feel I have now lived that dream.
I will miss all of the pups I have encountered along the way, with many of them leaving their paw print in my heart forever🐾💕

IT’S RAINING CATS & KITTENS!
We have over 25 friendly felines that are in need of a loving family home with over 40 more waiting in the wings to have all their vet work completed.
In a bid to move them on, we are offering adoptions at heavily reduced prices.
All cats and kittens are desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. They have also been assessed as having good temperaments, making them suitable for rehoming.
Cats over six months adoption fee's range from no fee to $50 and kittens under six months are reduced to $130 until we can significantly reduce numbers at the shelter.
Cats make ideal companions however individuals and families need to understand that it’s a long term commitment as a cat can live well into its teens.
We are via appointment only at varying times, please call the shelter team 5480 3005 to book an appointment.

Today we said another farewell to one of our founding members
Amanda Porter 💜

Amanda has been with me when I first opened the salon in Haverfield St back in 2018.
So if it wasn't my face you saw at the salon, it was definitely Amanda's beautiful face (and a multitude of different hair colours)💜🧡💕💙

Amanda has been an amazing asset to the business. Not only with her talented grooming but with her enthusiasm and caring nature as well.

We all wish Amanda the best with her new venture, I'm sure she will shine brightly💜💜

Thankyou for being a kind, caring, gentle friend, not only to us workmates but to our clients and all of the pups that came through our doors 💜💜

Today our wonderful receptionist/bather Cathlyn Herd , had her last day with us😢

Cathlyn has been a god send with managing the salon for the past 15 months in my absence.

With her personable approach and caring nature to both client and dog, I'm sure she will be missed by many.
She will definitely be missed by her team x

We wish her all the best on her new journey and thank her for being an absolute rock star to work alongside.

To our dear clients

It's with much heart ache that I have to inform you all that I will be closing our loved dog grooming salon on the 31st march 2023.

The girls and I would like to thank you all for supporting us at this location for the last 5 years.

It's been a wonderful experience expanding the business and we have very much enjoyed forming special relationships with you and a life long love with your beloved dogs.

I can't thank you all enough for keeping the business turning with all of the disruptions we have experienced during our time at this location. It's been a rough few years.

I would like to publicly thank Amanda💜, Cathlyn💚, Sian🖤, Kathy💛 and Kim🧡 for making our work place a wonderful place to be.
It's a rare thing that you can spend your days with your best mates surrounded by dogs every day. For this, I'm eternally grateful and will treasure those memories.
You have all contributed to putting your own special stamp on the business, which in turn helped make it so successful.
I wish you all the best and much happiness with your new beginnings 💙

Congratulations to these two siblings with their approach to the whole grooming process.

💛Kai was a little reserved to start with. However, over time with lots of encouragement and regular appointments, Kai is much more comfortable with the grooming process.

🧡Piper, whilst only being new to the grooming process, has taken it on board with a great attitude and has settled in like a true champ.

Dear clients
I would like to let you all know that I will be returning to the salon after a 15 month break (health and family circumstances).

The last 12 months I have been in Melb transitioning my eldest son Harry into year 11.
During this time I was lucky enough to have employment at 2 very successful grooming salons.
The first, Groomer haz it- Ringwood https://www.facebook.com/ghiringwood?mibextid=ZbWKwL Co-owned by 2 amazing people. 1 being a master groomer, who was a wealth of information with breed clips and techniques advice. The girls there were so nice and fun.

Owned by a student of a master groomer, who was such an amazing, fun woman with so much drive and passion.
The team was amazing and I will treasure the times spent there.

So i had a wonderful time working alongside some really awesome, kind and super fun women.

A SUPER BIG THANK YOU to Cathlyn, Amanda, Kathy and Sian for working their butts off for the last 15 months, to keep the business working and expanding.

So after a well deserved break, we will reopen weds 4th Jan (bookings filled until 16th jan) with guns blazing.

I can't wait to be working back with my girls, seeing our amazing regulars and meeting our newbies.

Unfortunately with the flood waters of the Campaspe and Murray rivers effecting parts of Echuca/Moama, we must close our salon.

If you have an upcoming appointment with us, you will be notified.
We cannot say when we will reopen again, however, we will inform you all when this time comes.

Unfortunately it's a wait and see predicament, but with the army in town helping out, our priorities are elsewhere at this time.

Whilst not overly thrilled when dropped off for his grooming sessions, he just gets on with it.
