Origins German Spitz is one of the youngest registered breeders of German Spitz in Australia based in Melbourne. We have been exhibiting the German Spitz since 2013 and striving to gain some recognition for the breed both in the show ring and dogs sports including agility. We have been fortunate enough to have two wonderful foundation dogs (Bane and Eva) for our kennel getting their “origins” from

successful kennels as Vonleenard, Borndownunda, Atetac, Neuboree, Fyreburst and Llancarfan to name a few. Our goal is to work to maintain the high level of standard which we have in Australia for this amazing breed with the aid of mentoring from our senior kennels. Hello fellow Originians....

Unfortunately, due to scheduling issues, we will need to postpone the get together for now. Apologies for the inconvenience and we will let everyone know when it's back on.
However, if anyone would like to see the debut of Jessica Jones and Juggernaut in the show arena, KCC park is holding a few shows which Damien Barnes will be showing at....its an experience!

It's that time of the year when the Origins family gets together for a catch up with the doggos. It's also a great opportunity for anyone who is considering a German Spitz as an addition to their family to come and see them in their natural habitat, and talk to the owners to see what life is really like with one or two or three of these beautiful dogs.

So if you're around in Melbourne on Monday 10 June (King's Birthday weekend) come along, say hello.
