Last census results was less than 100 of La Fleche same for Yokohama 🥰 these birds are definitely unique.

La Fleche is a dual-purpose bird for meat and eggs. It lay fairly large white eggs, around 150-200 per year.
If records are right there are less than 100s here in Australia.

The La Fleche is now rare but were around in France before 1660, taking their name from the town of La Fleche in the Valley of La Sarthe.
They have long wattles, white earlobes and the plumage is nearly always black with black legs and feet. The tail is well developed and has many ornamental feathers.
They are good forager and are happy to free range but will adapt equally well to confinement.

Can't wait to have babies from these 2 beauties, DG and Carmela🥰...
Carmela survived pneumonia a few weeks ago, my tiny sweet and strong girl, so happy she made it.
Trying to breed out white showgirls. 😔I lost mine back in January and haven't been able to find one since.
