Enrol now so you can attend our next Sunday rally on the 21st July.
We are lucky to have fabulous instructors and a range of classes to choose from. Our core lessons are working equitation, show jumping, flatwork & poles.

A great opportunity to ride a dressage test without the anxiety of competition.
Traditional dressage riders are welcome to come and try out the working equitation tests. Working equitation tests take place in a 40m x 20m arena.

A great opportunity to ride a dressage test and a maneability trial without the nerves of competition.

These 2 men were caught stealing water from the Gidge Equestrian grounds just now.
Driving a white single cab ute, one in a blue shirt and the other in an orange hi vis. Both balding, man in orange is older than the other.
They hooked up the the tank on the grounds and filled their IBC.
The ute has no rear number plate.
Unfortunately it’s not a great photo but if anyone recognizes either of the men or see’s this ute driving around please report them.
Water being stolen from this tank is an ongoing problem.

✨ Our Enrolment Day will be on Sunday 21st January 2018, 9am – 12pm, please come along and say hello to the Committee and join us for a Sausage Sizzle. This is a great opportunity for potential new members to check out the facilities and grounds and get an idea of what we are offering.
Memberships will need to be submitted and paid prior to our First Sunday Rally in 2018 in order to attend.
✨ There will be some changes in 2018!!
Notably with the addition of FRIDAY RALLYS!!
On top of our regular Sunday Rally each month, our Saturday Clinics and Training Days, we will also be introducing Friday Rally’s in 2018.
Starting on 9th March, they will generally be held on the 2nd Friday of each month, with some variation throughout the year due to other scheduled events. Please check out the Online Calendar for dates!
These will most often be half day, offering one lesson type only, which will be a variation of flatwork, poles or showjumping depending on the garnered interest at the time.

Our Jump 4 Karen Showjumping Training Day is filling fast. ENTRIES CLOSE THIS FRIDAY !! We have so many prizes to win and give away. You don't need to be the fastest or have a clear round to win something. Ribbons, Bubbles, Horse gear we have it all. Our sponsors have been outstanding and the raffle prizes are HUGE and only $5.00 a ticket ! We will have heaps of food, ice creams and cold drinks available from the canteen with Breaky buns and other yummy stuff. Trade stands will be there to tempt you . Even a water fountain to cool yourselves and your horses off with if its a warm day. Dave Carey will be there to build the course and offer advise or encouragement if needed. A draw will be available and the raffle will be drawn at lunch time.

We had our last rally of the year on Sunday and decided to do something a little different from our regular rally days!!
.
We held a "Nag of the Year" fun day; with in-hand, ridden, poles, showjumping and handy pony activities!!
.
Thank you to all our members who came along, got involved and got into the spirit of the day!
It was so great to see so many smiling faces and to see everyone having such a great time 😁
.
A huge thankyou goes out to Gidge Grog, the local bottle-mart, who generously sponsored most of our "trophy's" 🍾 You guys are awesome!!!
Our overall Nag of the Year winner got to take home a "little" bottle of wine 😉, and a lovely Saddle Cloth made by Capriole Equestrian Custom Made 👏

We have done a final count of all funds raised for the GEA Breast Cancer Care WA Open Dressage Training Day on 22nd October 2017 and we are so very very pleased to annouce that we raised a whopping $2,737.00 🌟

We want to send out a HUGE thankyou to everyone who came, entered, supported, donated, sponsored, bought raffle tickets, lunch, wore purple and just generally made this event a huge success!!!

The GEA Committee would like to thank everyone who came and made our Breast Cancer Care WA Open Dressage Training Day such a great success yesterday!! 💜🌟

We were blessed with fantastic weather after the big storm overnight, and the arena’s were (mostly) still standing in the morning!

The raffle ticket sales were a HUGE success, and we want to thank everyone again who contributed to the hampers - we had so much to give away and it is a real tribute to the generosity of our members and the local community 🌟

It was also SO fantastic to see everyone wearing purple and showing their support for the cause, everyone looked amazing! 🦄 😍
