Our first PRE-LAY shed!!!!
Amarni is looking thiccccc asf 🤣 can’t wait for the next 15 to 30 days for her to lay her very first clutch of eggs! 🥚

We’ve only seen her lock up with Flynn but she has also been in with Franklin.

There’s just something about my Flynn and Amarni that I believe will create beautiful babies 😍😍

Next year we will hopefully have a few more in the mix! 👀

New Corals for the reef tank! We are so stoked! Thanks so much to @thepetshowaustralia for 2 free corals from the Fritz stand! What a great experience to see how they frag coral in person! @gallery_aquatica store was the first store we visited on our way back home and all I can say is what an amazing set up. They were super helpful and the store was full of stock! Lastly @nicksaquariumterrarium, our biggest haul was from nick himself in his show stopping store. Nick went above and beyond helping us and even stayed open to ensure we got exactly what we needed. I even purchased two snakes from him... yet to be introduced! Sage is trained to use her water bowl at the bottom but I decided I wanted her to enjoy droplets as this is how frilly naturally prefer. I have set up a sylhet system with a little hose outlet with flow control. Very slowly, the water drips down through the hose and onto the leafy back drop where it then trickles down into her water bowl. This also keeps me accountable for ensuring she has fresh water twice a week! Ps. This helps me A Lot as I work away, and don’t have to worry too much if she is hydrated or not seeing as this enables her to drink either way she likes 🤗 If you’d like to see a closer look how I have my frilly set up, please leave a comment below 🫶🏽
