Sitting in gratitude for our girls at home and all the pups I have had the pleasure of looking after.

Honestly I’ve always known what it’s like for animals in a 3rd world country but when in and around them it hurts my heart sooooooo much 😭

All I can say is we are so damn lucky where we live and that we are able to give our babies the best life possible as that’s not the case for so many over here in Bali.

So hug your babies a little tighter and really truly love them with everything you have 🐾

We are looking to partner with a rescue over here in Bali where we can give monthly donations to help these earth angels live a better life like they deserve 💕

This is for you if you have a furry child in your house 🐾

This last week it’s basically being summer on the Gold Coast.

For me I instantly go into DogMum mode and ensure my pups are looked after and comfortable.

See below some ways we can help our babies 🐶

🐾 Ensure fresh water in their bowl daily.

🐾 They have access to a cool room (this could have aircon or cool tiles)

🐾 Have you thought of making up some frozen treats? Like a pupcicle 🍡

🐾 If you have any cooling mats around pop in fridge/freezer for an hour, they would love to lay on this.

🐾 Do you have a little paddle pool you could put some water in for pup to play in?

🐾 Have you booked a summer groom to ensure they can stay cooler?

And the absolute DO NOTS 🚫

🚫 Do NOT walk pup in the middle of the day where heat is the highest temp.

🚫 Do NOT walk pup on concrete or sand.
Is it hot for your feet? How do you think pup feels? Paw pads will burn off.

🚫 For godsake DO NOT leave pup in your car even if you think ducking into the supermarket for 5mins will be fine 😡

Such common sense things but if I’m honest I’ve seen and read horrible things that could have being avoided. Common sense straight out the window.

Whatever you’re feeling in this weather I can guarantee that’s heightened for our furchildren as they are head to toe in fur 💕🐾

To all our furiends we have an announcement about our Mummies 🐾

Mummies will be leaving us for two weeks and going on a holiday (how dare they)

The dates are the 2nd to the 19th November.

We will miss all our furiends during this time and will be calling mummies probably daily to tell them to hurry up and come home to us!

We hope all our furiends don’t miss us too much and we hope to see you the second mummies are back 🐶🐾

Today I saw a video of a therapy horse holding his head on a man’s chest.

This man had special needs and was bed ridden.

As the horse held space and leaned into this man’s chest he burst into tears 😭

The horse just held the safe space 💕

I mean animals are just everything 🐾

The other day I asked on my page “In one word what do you look for in a Petsitter?”

The top words were Love and Connection 💕

I wholeheartedly agree and here is why.

LOVE
Love the dogs you work with, I’m talking unconditionally, no matter how big or small, old or new.

When I work with these furbabies they are all my best friends, I chat to them non stop when we hang out.

When I leave I say I love you, bye, see you tomorrow.

If you walked past me you might think I’m the crazy dog lady 🙃 but I wouldn’t care as I LOVE my job so much!

CONNECTION
Connection with the pawrents is vital.

My beautiful clients have invited me into their family and trusting me with their furbaby.

So you bet I will keep that trust and update them on every detail about their babies day.

Sending photos and videos of our time together so they know what their babies are up to.

Even down to the facts of if their baby did wees or poos outside.

Yes I am that crazy dog lady who will give updates on ALL details 🤪

Low tox… huh?

When your pups come and stay with us they will be in a low tox environment 🥰

Meaning no chemicals in my household 🙅🏼‍♀️

🚫 No bleached clean floors that there little puppy toes will walk around on and absorb.

🚫 No heavy scented candles on in the background filling their nostrils.

🚫 No spray and wipe fumes floating around the kitchen they can inhale.

The above are harmful to us and our pups are no different.

Instead the environment your pups are in: 🙂

🐾 They have access to filtered water, if I have it so do my pups.

🐾 Calming pure essential oils diffused, always a calming blend on for any anxious pups.

🐾 Homemade multipurpose spray of vinegar and essential oils for accidents.

🐾 Tv on in the background creates a homely feel especially for anxious ones.

🐾 Heating and cooling depending on weather.

Creating a friendly, low tox, homely environment for our pups is super important to me.
They love us unconditionally, well I’m here to do the same 🐾💕

Feeling hot hot hot 🥵

Imagine wearing a fluff suit 24/7 😳 no thanks.

Weather here on GC is starting to get real warm, yesterday 28 degrees, today meant to be 26.

Couple of my favourite ways I like to help our fur babies feel more comfortable when it starts to warm up.

• Give them an ice cube to lick/eat

• Pop some ice cubes in their water bowl

• Make up some frozen treats (we use )

• If you have a cooling mat, pop in fridge/freezer for an hour then leave on floor for pup

Guess who’s back?

Barney is back 🐾🥰

We are so excited to have Barney boy out and about again.

Little story with Barney 👇🏼

Barney has being down and out since July as he had to have surgery for a cruciate ligament in one of his back legs ☹️

Barney is 7, so recovery was a tight kept ship to ensure he will back up and bouncing around with his brother Hugo in no time.

I checked in with my beautiful client regarding Barney regularly as I love all doggos like my own and it was devasting news to hear.

So fun to have Barney back today at the park doing what he loves.

Poo, sniff and sit 😂
