This is something I think should be seen by all. Too often I have seen grooming friends put in absolutely awful situations by owners that "love" their dogs but have never thought to train them to do things that they deem "cruel." Eg. Crate train or muzzle train their dogs. Both of which I am a strong advocate for. I know that I won't make friends with this post but it needs to be said. These things ARE NOT CRUEL! Cruel is the first time your dog ends up being forced into a muzzle or a box when it has been injured! An already stressful experience made worse because that lovely dog you had is in so much pain it tries to bite those that are there to help it. And after this experience your once friendly mate is so fearful of others and going to the vets because instead of being ready for this it was a hugely traumatizing experience. I have so many examples of why both of these things should be the top of your list of things you socialise your dog to and make normal to them but I am going to stop here. So I know it has been awhile since I last posted guys but to be fair we have been very busy raising a puppy and to young boys. Running the farm stuff that we have going on and just living life as hectic as it has been for the last year! Here is some pic of living our best life with our dogs who have also been working hard. We have been quite on the puppy front as we have been waiting for our two young girls to grow up into mature young ladies and are in no rush to breed until they are grown. I have also been raising pups for other ppl and have had my hands full. Anyway just to touch base with everyone. Stay safe guys
