9 week old GO-GETTA SCOPE (GG Spanky x GG TV) who’s line bred to Futura Ned & Paddy’s Shadow.
Has just switched on yesterday, and is starting to show some lovely instinct, so the “Balancing up” (going around the stock, bringing and holding them to the handler) process can now start discreetly without SCOPE even realising! By just making it easier for him to go around the stock than in-between them and you.
You can also see that we’re also encouraging a compliant attitude and starting the Sit, Come & call off sequence.

Looking at GO-GETTA STAX (Allstates Betts x GoGetta Shack) who’s one of the Quality bi***es we’ll be offering later this year, it’s easy to see why her sister (GG Shine) sold for 17 K at 10 months and brother (GG Sketch) sold for 23 K at 8 months.

This vid not only gives a glimpse of how good STAX is going to be and what a fantastic job Alex is doing with her, but is also a great demo of how to set your young dog up for success, and achieve sustained progress with very little effort.

By showing how to;
1. Only send dog short distance, so you can easily get into a position where you can guide, and if needed correct.
2. Help your dog to get sheep out of the corner. By just stepping forward and back whilst encouraging. (NOT trying to push it in.)
3. Be a reference point, give clear direction with body language, rather than confusing with commands you haven’t taught yet.
4. Make transition from blocks/body language to verbal commands.
5. Teach sit with minimal pressure or resistance.👌

After forming bond, it’s important to start on a good note and get a feel for where your new investment is at, by just letting it get used to its new home, without over commanding and by reenforcing commands on lead at first, and then with blocks and body language in low stress situations.

The GoGetta team would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone who has supported our sale, especially Enduro who has helped us prepare and present our dogs in such healthy condition.

The average price was $4,500 down on last year, but over $2000 above the previous national record, and we again achieved a 100% clearance with the outstanding all round worker GoGetta BARDY topping the sale @ $28,000.

Our 1 on 1 On farm Working Demonstrations are over, but it’s not too late to call on 0429667464 to discuss your requirements, and if we have a worker that can meet them.

Every Lot has had at least 2 bids, with 12 dogs on the market, but still 11 dogs at 5K or under!
Which shows how reasonable our reserves are, and that there is potential to purchase a well bred, beautiful natured worker at a very reasonable price.

Brains & stock sense are probably the hardest traits to firstly find, and then keep in your line.
So we’re extremely grateful, that after ten years of educating/tailing Cattle all across the Top end of Aust with Joni Rose Hall of Muster Dogs fame, SHIMMERS sire - GoGetta Cleaver was retired to stud here.
