In Old Norse “Loki” means close, and that is exactly what this Loki wants, to be close to his people!
Loki is a 16 month old Whippet weighing 24.5kg (with a few kg to lose!)

Loki is looking for a home that has previous experience with Whippets and maybe even another Whippet for company.
Loki has previously been outside dog but is wanting his new family to welcome him indoors. He hasn’t has much training but is food motivated. Loki is described as easy going, friendly and he will come when called.

If you are interested in meeting Loki, please use the link below to submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI). Please include as much detail as you can about the life you could provide for a new dog. Staff from our Hobart Home will contact those suitable to chat and arrange an appointment.

- we can only accept EOIs under the correct dog's name. Please don't select another dog's name in the drop down menu.
- if you cannot see the dog's name in the list, it's because we have hit the max number of EOIs that we are able to accept for that dog.
- we may not be able to contact all unsuccessful applicants.
- we understand you may want to increase your chances of being selected as a new fur parent, but contacting us to reiterate information in your application only takes us away from our doggie duties and does not increase your chances. Thank you for your understanding.

Puppies yesterday, tried their first pigs ears, the chihuahuas thought it was a game to chase their mum with tails wagging.
Whippets certainly were chewing, pigs ears are their mums favourite treat 💕🐾

All puppies will have their first vaccinations, microchips and their full health checks done today,
Whippets will also be weighed and wormed being 6 weeks, all ready for visits tomorrow,
We are all very excited to meet you
