We stumbled upon this beautiful park over the weekend, nestled sweetly next to a stream, surrounded by native trees and bird life.🦜
We’ve seen our fair share of dog parks and can comfortably say this is one of the nicest dog parks in Townsville 🌳

Daily walks and dog park visits are part of the every day visitations we provide at Sit, Stay, PLAY Townsville. We do not charge extra for these services 🥰

How lucky we are to have so many beautiful spots where we can experience nature with our four legged friends!

Ruby loves to run on her long leash at Bushland Beach during low tide, while Chiquita prefers the lush riverbanks of the Ross; both are equally lovely 🥰

Remember to always keep your dogs leashed and remain cautious in off-leash areas. Follow all signage in the area regarding safety and wildlife 🐊 Always pick up after your pets 💩 And of course, enjoy every moment ✨

Who LOVES border collies?? ❤️☝️🙋

This beautiful breed is definitely a favourite here in 🏝️
As a herding dog, they require LOTS and LOTS of exercise, if they don’t receive it they can become anxious, destructive and even self traumatise! 😧

We are experienced in handling all breeds of dogs, and can provide high energy visitations for dogs who need that extra bit of attention throughout the day!! 🏃‍♀️

🦇 Winged Wednesdays 🌄 Upon our morning doggy walk with Toto, we came across what we thought was a deceased flying fox washed up on the sand dunes of Pallarenda. But he lifted his head and we knew we had to get him out of harms way! Once safely back in a nearby tree, we contacted Townsville Bat Rescue Australia and alerted them to his whereabouts. Flying foxes are essential to our ecosystem and help with spreading pollen and rejuvenating our Bushland, but habitat destruction drives them closer into suburbia where they become victims to domestic pet attacks and human intervention. If you notice injured wildlife, contact the correct organisation and help keep them safe! NQ Wildlife Care Wildlife Rescue Queensland RSPCA Townsville
