The UltraWhite breed are the perfect maternal shedding sheep breed. They have great reproductive traits as well as a high yielding carcass. Our

Multi Purpose Merinos are bred with a focus on reproduction traits with high Muscle and Fat creating a easy care Merino, with a great carcass. Stokes Bay Genetics aims to be a very advanced modern stud uttilizing all new technologies. We are experencied in using electronic tags for data collection, full pedigree recording, automatic weighing & drafting. All our Poll Dorsets have been DNA tested using the latest technolagy from Pfizer Animal Gentics to analyse pedigree and to improve accuracy of ASBVs
Lambplan has been a huge change for the sheep industry allowing producers to bench mark the rams they are buying against other studs and breeds. Through the use of australian breeding values clients gain much more confidence that the rams they buy will breed lambs they want.

AI lambing is almost complete, with 10mm of rain overnight and beautiful lambing conditions, despite limited food availability. The ram lamb, sired by Melton Vale 220563, has a TCP of 171, BWT of 0.19, PFAT of 0.43, PEMD of 6.20 and a WEC of -20.5, indicating a promising future for this Poll Dorset ram in the sheep genetics industry.
