More dragon joy overnight. Bonnie and Clyde’s lil zeros and het zeros (heterozygous or containing the zero gene) hatched last night. Both first clutches out safely. Some spoken for but a couple may be looking for a homestead in eight weeks or so. Msg for more. Cheers to 🐉’s!

Hey all, Nala and Red Riots first bubs are out. Hatched 28/10/23 so close to 8 weeks for Christmas. If you are interested please message and we will send out first information to have a look through.

We have been both grateful and blessed to home our animals with passionate Beardie folk and new comers.

Whether it is us or another breeder. Please take the time understand the commitment to these animals. There are a lot of beardies be being bred. They take a-lot of care and feeding to get them to you in a healthy state to set you and your kids up to succeed. Early husbandry is so important to avoid the bigger issues. We follow a number a great Aussie breeders too and continually aim to improve. Advisory over!!

Our pair of “Orries” (Varanus Tristis Orientalis)… there are many reasons we love these critters! Goofy, highly interactive and certainly more intelligent than many of the entities I met in my previous working life 😂….there’s a reason I know lots of people who are happier around animals….I digress! If you have space there are every size of monitor out there and some highly knowledgeable breeders. A great addition….bring on Friday folks!!

Luke the Boyd’s Forest Dragon (Hypsilurus Boydii no less) bids you good morning! These fellows really fit the bill as dragons we think. Not a hands on critter but ours is certainly more accepting of us now. They spend most of the time around head height on trees up north…..clever little fellows regulate their temp by moving around the tree. In one of those brief keeper logic moments I found out how much they naturally drink from the bough if water is provided (spray bottle)…. I know I know rainfall running down a tree! He will drink and drink and then rub on the wood for a clean up. Many will setup little waterfalls, sensibly, but it’s fascinating to watch. He still has a water bowl as well but that is used predominantly as a foot spa….I’ll keep on mentioning these things because you never know it might help someone! Happy Thursday folks…

Well Renee Hartley it was such a cool shot! Thank you. A pair of O. Fimbria who have lost their baby hoops and are growing up…Sorry we have been quiet. That old black dog is tedious but when the days improve it just reinforces what’s important. Rock n roll kids and the best Kat who has stood with me for 32 years and amazingly the last 9 years 4 weeks (not that I’m counting) that sees me free of the system…new horizons and spreading the love of these scaly pals… good plan! The rate of growth for our female “ax” bhp is impressive! Aspidites melanocephalus the Black Headed Python. Axanthic, the black and white colouring from the genetic reduction of the yellow and red pigments. Some real time, effort and patience from previous breeders. Just thanks! Our “Eclipse” is a beauty. One of two Aspidites species in Australia and unique in many ways. All have that black head…pop that out of the hideaway into the sun and get that boost of warmth to rock n roll into the day. A UV short black!! Happy Thursday….big storm here..a good day.

Our V. Tristis Orientalis (Bred by the redoubtable Horsley Herps) are all such characters and often just , literally , hang out…..🤞🤞our first eggs will hatch in a month or so! Definitely the next level of intelligence… epic little Varanids.

Hey folks, so we are reworking the room to be more user friendly for us and more so our animals. Many more wooden enclosures hence the plug for our buddies at Hemsley’s Reptile Enclosures. Great products and happy critters! Keep an eye out as we have an Aladdin’s cave of new and near new accessories and tanks that will be available soon. Plus some ongoing projects for a few more of our followers…. Still amazed anyone follows us for a look but very thankful. Onward and upward. Happy Tuesday!

Well here’s Friday. Slight delay Soz, bit of back surgery yesterday. So I got the right end! Such a great couple of days. Black snakes, Tiger, Common Death Adder and this stunning Brown. Johns Reptile Awareness Displays… check out what they do! Tina and John Mostyn are great teachers and their passion and love for these animals gives hope for mine. We learn ….
