Hi everyone, it's with mixed feelings I have to tell you that I've wound down Badgers Barkery. I would like to thank each and every one of you who have supported and encouraged me with my little business, you are so appreciated ♥️ I have had the most incredible support from Viv, Vanessa and Monique from Farmhouse Direct and I have not had one negative experience in my whole time baking for your beloved pets..thank you one and all. I'm posting my recipes here, maybe you'll be inspired to bake a biscuit or two, or might know someone who could have a little fun with them. Take care, stay safe and remember just how blessed we are to have those little happy wagging tails ♥️

A RISING DANGER
During the COVID Lockdown some people have discovered the joys of bread baking. Nothing is nicer than the smell of cooking bread.
But did you know that the raw dough can be dangerous to dogs and cats? As the dough rises the fermenting yeast produces ethanol and carbon dioxide. This can lead to animals becoming disorientated, bloated and possible alcohol poisoning.
If your dog or cat gets into the rising dough a trip to the vet is required.
Thanks to the ASPCA for this warning.

The movement has truly humbled our hard working . The team from the Mornington Delivery Centre were all together in the lunch room when they first heard of this initiative on the 24 Hour News channel. One of our in this team, Sean took to the group to say it was one of the highlights of his 30 year career to see the outpouring of gratitude for Postal workers. Australia for your patience as we work through the and that are coming through our network and delays due to COVID-19

As you can see Baxter isn't as accommodating as our dear old Badger in the photo department, it took ages to get him to sit still 🙄😂😂..see you all again on the 20th January 2020!!!

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you...furry and non furry 😊 ❤️🎄 and a big thank you all again for your fantastic support of this year, especially over the past couple of months as the Farmhouse website has struggled in it's new format. I am absolutely confident that our wonderful support team will continue to work out the glitches into the new year but I just want to say THANK YOU for perservering 😘😘 It has been a hard year after loosing Badger, but you have all helped bring a little sparkle back into my heart ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Have a restful and safe Christmas, please give your beautiful furry kids a big hug from me and I'll see you all in Feb '19 💝

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding following the loss of our dear Badger. Your kindness and concern has given me the resolve and confidence to keep Badgers Barkery going. I appreciate you all so much, I love the buzz I get when I carefully bake and package for your dear pups, imagining their bright, happy eyes and noses. So we will be kicking off again on the 3rd April. Please have a safe and happy Easter and we'll see you after that. ❤

This so tough to write, I can't believe it still but our darling Badger passed away peacefully last week. We are absolutely heartbroken at loosing our beautiful boy. He was my world. As most of you know, I started Badgers Barkery up for Badger, and because of him, I have met all of you wonderful people, and I have made some wonderful friendships and one especially close friend. Thank you!! Badgers Barkery was for Badger, everything I did was with Badger in mind, I imagine all of your dear furbabies being sensitive, loving, separation anxious like Badger which makes me smile. This quote says so much in so few words....❤
