🎊Happy holidays everyone.

After a massive year both personal and professional I’ll be taking a break to recover, reflect, recharge and reevaluate. I know no better way of doing that than spending time with my boys.
I have some great plans for the next year and am excited to see how it goes.

Thank you all for your support throughout the year and I hope to see you all again soon.
Whatever you are doing, I hope you have a safe and enjoyable time.

Well this marks the end for this year.
So many wonderful dogs, not just for the Christmas season but all year through.
A massive thank you to my friend Lorraine for helping me get through this mammoth month. I couldn’t get everyone in but I did give it a try 😜

I have been under the weather this week and have had to reschedule appointments.
I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Being unable to work is never easy but when you are a sole trader it makes it even harder.
I am being tentatively looked after by George ( and my partner) who has a vested interest in my wellbeing because he needs his ‘walkies’ buddy back.
I have a backlog of messages and appointments to arrange which I will get to asap.
Thank you for your patience.

In the meantime I’m going to soak up the magical healing properties of snuggling up with my dog allows me.

Just wanted to share a proud groomer’s moment…. When Lola first started coming here, she had very little experience with being groomed. She had decided that it wasn’t for her and gave anyone who tried a hard time. It was a shame because she really is one of the most sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. The first time I groomed her, I bribed her, had to coax her to get anything done, I even remember telling her that if I actually did hurt her I would give her my hand to bite in return! Over the course of my time with her I’ve been able to show her that nothing “bad” will happen and this whole thing can be a little bit of fun. She has gone from being timid, shy and apprehensive the first time I met her to running through my gate and into the bath. Today I realised that she has come so far when I became aware that I was drying her hair and 1; she wasn’t trying to kill my dryer 2; I had forgotten to put her happy hoodie on (it’s like earmuffs but for dogs, I use it for dogs that have issues with being dried) and the biggest of them all… 3; she was willing letting me dry her ears!!!! (ears are always the hardest for any dog to get used to) So very proud of this girl and her progress. It’s probably not a big thing to most people but as a groomer, this is what job satisfaction looks like. Kaylene Scott

This beautiful creature is Bondi. She makes her Mumma drag her into my place for grooming. She then makes me drag her into the bath. Seriously, if you saw her you would think she was off to be murdered! Now does this look like a dog that is hating her bath???? Oh Bondi, you love being my little Enigma! I’ll always love you regardless and probably even more so because of it.

Ummm, if you wonder what your pups get up while they are here it’s something like this.... Miss Ziggy had just had her bath and nails clipped/filed while she is great with having that done, I gave her a few minutes break so she wouldn’t become overwhelmed. This help keep grooming fun and stress free..... even if she does have to be still at times 😊
