This morning, another yearling, Kalani, has gone home. She is a 15-month-old Gypsy cob X and has been doing well with her handling by her owner. Kalani was brought here to fix some yearling problems and start her float training. In just one week, she learned a lot. This picture is from Kalani's third time going into the float, and she is just a baby who wants to play, so I try to make her training fun.

Here is Daffy.
She went home last Monday. Daffy came to us for assessment. Daffy is a 14 year old mare very light handled. The new owner wanted us to work with her and see how she will respond to different things. Daffy has the nicest nature. She want to be around humans. Although yes Daffy needs work like all lightly handled horses I think she is a nice pony. Good luck to her owner and Daffy

WEDNESDAY LESSONS
Due to the current bushfire situation there'll be no lessons today, 28/02/24.
For those evacuating horses please consider where you're actually moving them to, and if it might be an area potentially impacted by fire.
Bluedale is unfortunately unable to offer safe refuge for evacuees because of our close proximity to forest with high fire risk.
At this stage our horses will remain at our property, with weather conditions being monitored.
Catch up lessons will be running on Saturday for students who have missed out this week!
Look after each other, and stay safe!
If anyone needing a horse handled. I have 1 spot available.

I love my job but every time I say goodbye makes me a bit sad. Sad because they came to us so scared don't want anything to do with you. But then they learn to trust you and also bond with you. Seeing them change to the better. When for the very first time you lead them out. So another word they become your bast mate. Yesterday evening we said goodbye to Bambi. Bambi is AppyX 8 or 9 month old filly. Bambi came to us to teach her to pick all feet, Hard tie load on a float. Bambi seen the farrier before she left . Bambi is a very fast learner. Always try's hard. If anyone is interested Bambi is looking for a new show home. I'm happy to put you in touch with owner . If anyone needs horse handled send as a message and happy to have a chat .
