Edited: Medb and Aoife are now sold, going together to a lovely home with one of our long-term LaPerm owners.

A while ago I had announced that my breeding program was drawing to a close, and now that time has come.
All my adult cats are desexed, and I have 5 kittens left, the last LaPerms to be born in Australia.
Two born 28 January:
Kiira, blue tortie karpati and white LH girl, and Úlfur, lilac karpati LH boy.
Three born 2 April:
Medb (Maeve), blue caramel tortie and white LH girl (Sold), Aoife (Eefa), apricot karpati SH girl (Sold), and Herne, blue karpati SH boy (on hold).

Hi everyone.
Just a heads up that I am away from 28 February til end of March, which runs into Easter weekend.
I will check in from time to time depending on internet access, but can't deliver a cat to the airport after next week, until April.
Please let me know if you need any info on our remaining babes, or would like one held for you.

More kitten pics!
Aren't they adorable. I caught them asleep, all the better for photos.
Cloud 9's coat was coming in first after the normal bald phase, but Night Owl is catching up fast with beautiful ripples. Just like their dad pictured in the profile above, Rúrik.

A peaceful start to the day:
morning coffee and a lap of babies.
These two sweeties are now ready for adoption after being desexed a few days ago.
Both Cloud Nine and Night Owl are blue karpati and white LH LaPerm boys. They went through the normal baldy phase and are now gaining nice coats. Their parents have nice LH coats so I can be sure they'll get there eventually, lol.

Our little Squirrel (Lucky Star) is off to Broken Hill tomorrow, to join his brother Levi (Acid Wash).
I'm going to miss this smoochy boy, but I know he's going to the best home.
He has the unusual colour seal mink karpati and white, so I'll take the chance to point out some interesting characteristics of this pattern combination.
Mink has aqua eyes and darker points (face, ears, feet). Karpati has shading, and sprinkled white hairs throughout, which are more concentrated on the points. One early name for the pattern was reverse point ie lighter on the points.
So the 2 patterns can fight for dominance and end up patchy, but I think he has a lovely balance of both.

Hi everyone, just a heads up.
I am housesitting from this Wednesday 5 July, until August 20. Two jobs with a week in between them at home.
I can still get cats to the airport if necessary, but it needs more advance planning.
At present it is a 3 hr round trip for me, add on more for travel from my stays .
Please let me know here if you would like travel arranged for one or more of our babes.
