My training is not about training a particular behaviour, it is about changing the mindset of your dog to regard you as someone who is worthy of their attention and obedience. I also provide continuing on-going support afterwards by message or phone, for as long as is needed, for any questions or concerns that may arise. My method of training, using body language, which is the way dogs communicate, is a very fair and reasonable way to train dogs. It is quick, easily understood and gets instant results. I have success with many dogs that their owners have not been able to get under control using other methods.

To every one of the wonderful people who have been so understanding during these lockdowns and have had bookings with me shuffled and cancelled, I am really looking forward to seeing you but unfortunately it will not be just yet…………….

I live in the regional area and am not permitted to work in the metro area until Daniel releases us 🥴 I will be in touch with all of you when I know the date I can start up again.

To all the people who do not have previous bookings with me, I hope I have the honour and privilege of helping you but because of my commitment to previous bookings I will not have any availability until the new year.

Hello everyone. I don’t usually post political type messages and have been a bit quiet on social media lately but I am getting increasingly frustrated.

It will be five weeks of continuing lockdown so far for me because I haven’t been allowed to open my business since lockdown 5. I have been getting multiple enquiries every day from people, some quite desperate, to get their dogs under control and my hands are tied. I am not allowed to train and as each lockdown week is announced I am having to reschedule bookings. I love helping people and in my small way I feel that I am making a difference to people’s lives. I am in a fortunate position where my livelihood is not threatened yet but these ridiculous lockdowns are having a huge impact and many people are becoming desperate as their businesses fail.

I am horrified as I watch our freedoms and choices being stripped away by the people in power. I am not for or against any kind of medication (vxn) - don’t want my page banned! But I do strongly believe you should have freedom of speech and a choice about what you choose to put in your body. I see so much bitterness and negatively towards people on both sides of the argument. We need to unite and take care of each other. That is the only way forward in my opinion.

I will be closing my bookings until the start of October at this stage. I am booked up extensively at present and feel with the constant rescheduling I am having to do that it is only fair to the people who have already booked that I do this. If you are interested in booking a session please get in touch in early October.

I would like to thank everyone who has made bookings with me and have had to reschedule. I thank you for your kindness and understanding at this crazy time with lockdowns and restrictions. I see many people who are having big issues with their dogs and it is very frustrating for them to have to wait to get a session time with me, as I am always booked up ahead, and then to have to cancel and rebook. It can be really hard when your dog is driving you crazy. I am not yet open again for business but hopefully will be after Thursday’s restrictions ease. I am still taking bookings though so if you are interested in getting my help please get in touch as my diary is filling fast.

Is your dog making your life difficult and stressful? Is your dog too excited to take notice of you? Have you tried obedience classes and puppy school and your dog is still out-of-control?

Pulling on the lead, jumping all over you, jumping on and chewing the furniture, barking at and scratching the doors, barking at the neighbours, digging holes in the garden, rushing through doorways and gates are just some of the issues that make life difficult, but are actually quite simple and easy to fix.

I am an experienced dog trainer, who for many years lived in the country training horses and dogs. I have a special talent and affinity with animals and using my experience in both the dog and horse world, I bring a unique and practical approach to the world of dog training. I am also the mother of five grown, strong-minded children, including twins, and this again has prepared me well for the very similar, calm, strong, consistent approach needed to train dogs.

I am passionate and caring about helping people have better relationships with their dogs. I see many dogs exhibiting anxious, out-of-control, overly-excited behaviour. An anxious, excited dog is not necessarily a happy dog. A happy dog is relaxed and focused. I can teach you how to read the body language of your dog. This will give you a unique insight into how they are feeling and what they are trying to tell you. This enables you to greatly improve your relationship with your dog and they will, as a result, begin to view you as a fair and consistent leader.

I use a very simple, practical approach to dog training. I use body language as the main method as this is the way that dogs communicate, and is a very fair and easily understood technique to train a dog. I also set behavioural limits and make them very clear to the dog. This mimics what happens in the hierarchy of a dog pack situation and since dogs feel secure and safe when they are shown these limits in a clear and consistent way, the dog will respond by settling down and becoming calm and focused.
