Hi Everyone. It looks like I won't be available during Xmas and New Year after all. It's still in planning stages but looks like the medical treatment that I was waiting on is going ahead early. However, I have a wonderful pet sitter that I work with who I can recommend.

There's a new pet sitter in the neighbourhood I can recommend for when I'm not available. I work 4 days a week now and use him as a dog walker and he is excellent with my dogs.

Christie’s story

Christie starting pet sitting after having trouble finding a suitable and affordable pet sitter in the area. She decided to offer an affordable no frills local offering. Soon the business was at capacity so she now offers a limited service to a smaller number of pets so that each pet can have more personalised attention. Only 3 - 4 dogs are walked at a time, allowing them to have regular play buddies but still socialise with other dogs at the park. Also this allows pets that may have behavioural issues or anxiety to have extra attention without having to compete with other pets. Christie also provides basic training using positive reinforcement.

She works with a network of other quality pet sitters to ensure that there is always someone available to look after a pet in need.
